Standard paper feeder has capacity of 500 sheets (60-105g/m2, A4, B5, A5, Letter and custom 148x210 to 216x356mm), manual feeder takes up to 100 sheets (60-200g/m2, A4 B5, A5, Letter, Legal, Custom 70x148 - 216x297mm). It has unique type ceramic drum (Kyocera patent) which makes it last lifetime of printer. It makes maintenance much easier job (no need for drum replacing) and significantly reduces cost of printing. It's maximum average duty cycle is (according to producer) 15000 pages per month, although it can take much more. ...of the unit. To open the tray there is a moulded ergonomic handle which is easily pulled open. The tray then opens out infront of the printer and holds approximately 60-70 sheets of 80gsm paper. The printer feeds the paper from the back of the tray up and around the rollers, so if you are printing on coated paper of any description or something double sided then the side you wish to print upon needs to be laid face down. The paper loader never fails, a definite plus point of the printer! Only time it seems to stop printing in fact is when the drawer is empty!!! Performance/Print Quality I give the printer top marks in this department. It is more than capable of running huge print jobs of 200 plus sheets without any failure. Advantages: Compact, paper feeds straight.
Disadvantages: None that I can think of.

...I bought this as I had been getting frustrated with having to put in separate sheets of paper each time I wanted to print something off, not a problems if you only want to print off one page but when you're doing about 10 at a time it gets a bit tiring. Also quite often my paper had been going through my BJC-50 and come out with the printing not straight. Very inconvenient when printing off a sheet of labels. I had been wary of buying an auto sheet feeder as I thought it would be much too large and therefore void the reason behind buying a portable printer. However the ASF-50 is a compact sheet feeder as well. The printer sits inside it and then the sheet feeder folds over the top making it still very portable. Also now all my printing comes out straight which looks much more professional. All in all a great idea for making life... Read review
