...After my negative last printer review, I’ve decided to review another of our collection. The Kyocera FS 680 is my personal favourite. Which is a strange thing to admit under the circumstances!! About a year ago while in the process of finding new printers my boss suggested this one, to which I recalled what the hell is the point in buying it…We need A3 minimum and definitely something capable of printing colour. My boss inevitably ignored my comments and headed straight out to purchase this.
Incredibly this printer has since become a god send. Although only able to print A4 and black and white, this printer consistently chugs away day after day without a glitch. Before I launch into a buy now buy now speech I’ll tell you the features of the printer and let you decide!

Advantages: Very reliable, low cost per page Disadvantages: None
...is more than any other printer in that class. Black toner cost around £55, color around £80.
Standard paper feeder has capacity of 500 sheets (60-105g/m2, A4, B5, A5, Letter and custom 148x210 to 216x356mm), manual feeder takes up to 100 sheets (60-200g/m2, A4 B5, A5, Letter, Legal, Custom 70x148 - 216x297mm).
It has unique type ceramic drum (Kyocera patent) which makes it last lifetime of printer. It makes maintenance much easier job (no need for drum replacing) and significantly reduces cost of printing.
It's maximum average duty cycle is (according to producer) 15000 pages per month, although it can take much more.
It has wide range of accessories improving its (already impressive) performance: duplex unit (a must have in office environment), three additional paper feeders (each takes up to 500 sheets), power envelope feeder, hard...

Advantages: Very sharp clear image,No ghosting,Cheap Disadvantages: Large ,like all CRTmonitors
....There did seem to be a distinct lack of depth of colour and the movement was spoiled by the merest hint of a shadow on the screen. I disappointedly returned the LCD/TFT and got a refund.....Next plug in the Viewsonic Ultrabrite E70f+ and what a difference!!!!! ........Bright ,Sharp image with intense colours . This meant that the traditional disadvantage of CRTs ie flicker was totally unnoticed. The Quality of the image made up for the disadvantage of the increased size of the monitor
In the end I kept the Viewsonic E70F+ monitor and have not regretted my decision for one moment. The technical specification of the monitor is such that the quality of the image is remarkable
The E70f+SB monitor combines ViewSonic's PerfectFlat screen with high-brightness UltraBrite technology for exceptional performance and excellent value. UltraBrite CRT...

--How does it look?--
It’s basically a large, beige cube with four little indicator lights on the top. It is split into three sections; the top section is where the printed paper comes out, the middle section houses the toner, lets you feed sheets of... more
