I looked around for ages for a large frost-free freezer that had a good energy rating. Most of them are really expensive to run unless you get a second mortgage to buy a Bosch! Iceland's Kyoto range is endorsed by Greenpeace for being energy efficient, for 350 guid I thought I would give one a go. We've had ours for nearly a year now and it's worked faultlessly and has no frost build up at all. The build quality isn't quite up to German standards but it's solid enough and certainly does the job. The only problem I really have is keeping it well stocked because it's huge inside and takes a lot of filling up.
