ETF Securities commodity investment
Review of ETFS Securities by

Advantages: An easy method of including commodities in your investment portfolio
Disadvantages: ETFs and ETCs are a new idea, commodity investment always has been risky
...ETF Securities (http://www.etfsecurities.com/) is a Jersey (UK) based company that can give private investors exposure to commodity markets. It issues shares called 'exchange traded funds' or ETFs that track commodity prices. You can buy ETFs that track gold, silver, platinum, iron, oil, corn, wheat or even lean hogs, or ETFs that track agricultural indices or hold a range (a 'basket') of commodities.
Such ETFs are also known as ETCs or 'exchange traded commodities'. Until ETCs were introduced it was very difficult for retail investors to get direct exposure to commodity markets.

Security worries, persistent sales
Review of Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Gold by
o.gerbilpants
Advantages: Average APR, good cashback, no fee
Disadvantages: Worrying lack of security and constant sales pitches

Great Online Bank - Be careful of security
Review of NatWest Online Banking by
samrbrimble
Advantages: Quick and Easy, Lots of banking features.
Disadvantages: Security problems meaning some functions are disabled.
...the service centre and they will ask you a range of security questions. Then after clearance, they will unlock it there and then.
One thing that is becoming a major biggy is the people trying to get users of online banking security details. They do this by sending an email. This has become such a concern, NatWest sometimes bars its existing customer from making new payment transfers to other accounts. This is until the emails reduce and the security threat has been reduced.
I strongly recommend online banking. But remember to keep your details secure AND NEVER SEND YOUR DETAILS TO ANYONE ELSE. THESE ARE PERSONAL DETAILS AND NO-ONE ELSE NEEDS TO KNOW THEM.
