My 6 year old grand-daughter is an S Club 7 fan so she has watched both the original Miami 7 and the newer L.A. 7 shows, and when she is visiting, we've watched too. I think the series is pretty good for the age group that it is intended for - I'd say that was like the 10-13 year olds. There's lots of the music that S Club 7 are famous for, and let's face it, this show is a vehicle to keep their popularity in swell and their name up in lights.
So what if the actual show content is not brilliant drama or excellent acting? The fans of this show watch it because of the band, and to some (like 6 year old Angelica) that's why they like it. to them, the story line is just a secondary part of it all.
For those of us who want mor efomr what we watch, the old standby option is always present. The little knob on your tv that says on/off, or just hit the remote and find another channel.
Personally, I think it's just light-hearted entertainment, and i've never "suffered" when Angelica has wanted to watch it.
