ACER X223W
Review of Acer X223W by
8-blackball
Advantages: Cheap, many features, easy to set up
Disadvantages: Does not come with a wall mount
I have recently bought this monitor because my old monitor blew up. It's been a while since i have bought a monitor due to the fact they tend to last for years, so even tho i know a lot about computers i don't really know much about this type thing. My last monitor was a flat screen but i bought it cheap from a friend of mine, so i did'nt care what it was like, but when i looked at how much these kind of monitors were i looked into great detail on ... ...had to be cheap but i really wanted a large screen, when i saw this one it looked just as good as all the others but was a lot cheaper. So why was it cheap as far as i could make out it was just the make, I took a chance and to be fair it is excellent the picture is very clear infact when i watch a dvd on it it's better than our T.V in are living room. it has many features which are easy to use. The only extra money i spent was on a wall mount which ...

Review of Acer AL511 by
Dan2k5
Advantages: Good Because it is compact
Disadvantages: Bad Becauise of the glare
...my own review on the Acer AL511 TFT Monitor.
The Monitor is a standard 15" Flat screen computer monitor and is not exactly heavy but not light weight either, but please tell me who carries a computer monitor round with them unless it is part of a laptop.
I do actually own this monitor and love it, the picture quality is great and although the colours arent as vibrant or "colourful" they are still good, the mointor is ideal for compact desks and ...

ACE-r
Review of Acer AL 511 by
classact39
Advantages: Superb picture quality, lightweight
Disadvantages: only 15" (mine that is!)
...computers etc will know that Acer are no mugs in this department. I have had it running a lot of hours since i got it (isn't broadband a wonderful thing?!!!) and it hasnt showed and signs of losing the early quality i have seen, no deterioration in picture quality and certainly no dead spots are anythin like that. I sincerely hope it continues this way a picture quality on movies etc is superb, however if this cnahges i shall let you know!
The hinge ... ...depending on what angle you are looking at it from...
all i can say is thank you Acer for a superb bit of kit which i would thoroughly recommend to anyone else (although i may sound greedy in saying i would like a much bigger screen, one day maybe eh?!) ...

Its Fab To Watch Corrie in HD!
Review of Samsung SyncMaster T240HD by
scotlandizdabest
Advantages: Fantastic Picture And Price
Disadvantages: Took 3 People To Put The TV On The Bloody Stand!
...over.
About It
The Samsung T240 HD is a flat screen TV which has Freeview built in, as long as you are able to access it in your area. This TV is fantastic if you are wanting to update your older one, and because of the Digital switch over that will be happening around the country, it will then save you buying a new freeview box as well. It is also HD ready which means you will be able to plug in a Blu-Ray player, PS3, Xbox 360 or any other ... ...originally going to buy a Samsung TV. We were going to stay with Sony as that is really what we would usually buy. We were always pretty loyal customers. We went to the local Dixons which has 100's of TVs on show. What was proven was that Sony was not a big player anymore. The Samsung appealed most because of the quality. It was next to a LG which wasn't as good as the Samsung. But the size of it is we, at 24" is really big. Dixons showed it off ...

HP w1907v Monitor
Review of HP W1907v by
kindlyraccoon
Advantages: easy to use/set up. Widescreen. Built in speakers.
Disadvantages: Not enough base on sound
I have spent my christmas money on this monitor. Looking at its clarity in the store made me decide to go for it.
Getting home and taking it out of the box, I was pleased with the way it was protected against knocks and bumps. Plenty of cover over the screen to stop scratches.
When I got its base fastened to the screen it was then I realised how heavy it was. It sits nice and firm on the desk. The tilting mechanism works great although a bit tight ... ...I would of licked it to adjust upwards aswell, but for the price its good. A 19 inch wide screen is definatly good for watching movies with. Connecting it up to the computer is with the VGA socket (the blue multi pinned one) and no other one is there so one thing to think about when you buy it. The cable is supplied with the unit though.
The nice thing about the power cable is it does not have a mains dropper on it. You plug straight into the mains ...
