BenQ FP567s monitor
Review of BenQ FP567s by markb_1

Advantages: Thin, Fast Responce time, Brilliant Quality. reasonable price
Disadvantages: Viewing angle limited

...and hard to see. If BenQ could seriously improve the viewing angle of this monitor, it would simply be outstanding Everything else about this monitor is simply first class, hopefully BenQ will improve on ther later designs. Obviously being a TFT you have all the usualy advantages, it's very thin and not space consuming, fast refresh time, First class resolution, and unlike CRT there is little-no radiation released, so you do not come away feeling ... BenQ FP531
Review of BenQ FP531 by droniee

Advantages: nice and bright screen, clear, compact, slim
Disadvantages: have not discovered any yet

I've just recently bought this monitor for 100 pounds in Malaysia. It is really amazing and i'm all excited about it. It is compact and flat screen. Its slim design adds a sleek look to any computing system in any room. it has 6 buttons at the bottom of the screen, each for : internet, exit, adjusting the contrast, adjusting brightness, enter and power respectively. This makes it really convenient. It has an integrated power supply, so there are ...
...and not messy and troublesome like some monitors and it has a nice and unique stand. The screen is 15" and i personally feel that the price is reasonable. It has a TFT screen, which is supposedly more beneficial for the eyes. With a contrast ratio of 350:1 and a brightness of 250 cd/m2, it offers good picture quality, It is easy to use and comes with a good packaging. Also it is simple to install. It comes with a Kensington lock to secure the monitor. ... Read review

Flatscreen monitors the way to go
Review of BenQ FP553 by Shadow_X

Advantages: Clear screen, easy to clean
Disadvantages: None

...few on special and the BenQ was on sale due to stock clearance, so I considered it. What bothered me was I had never heard of the brand, and I am the sort of person that prefers to buy what I have heard of and know, but the shop assistant told me all the benefits so in the end I bought it. Setting it up was so easy, you just plug it in and windows xp sets it up automatically, I didn't need to do anything else. If something goes wrong and it doesn't ...
...of the monitor. Although only a 15 inch monitor it still compares to all standard 17 inch monitors, so well worth getting especially considering how reasonably priced it was at £135. When I next plan to upgrade my monitor I will have no hesitation going with BenQ again. ... Read review

Its Fab To Watch Corrie in HD!
Review of Samsung SyncMaster T240HD by scotlandizdabest

Advantages: Fantastic Picture And Price
Disadvantages: Took 3 People To Put The TV On The Bloody Stand!

...over. About It The Samsung T240 HD is a flat screen TV which has Freeview built in, as long as you are able to access it in your area. This TV is fantastic if you are wanting to update your older one, and because of the Digital switch over that will be happening around the country, it will then save you buying a new freeview box as well. It is also HD ready which means you will be able to plug in a Blu-Ray player, PS3, Xbox 360 or any other ...
...originally going to buy a Samsung TV. We were going to stay with Sony as that is really what we would usually buy. We were always pretty loyal customers. We went to the local Dixons which has 100's of TVs on show. What was proven was that Sony was not a big player anymore. The Samsung appealed most because of the quality. It was next to a LG which wasn't as good as the Samsung. But the size of it is we, at 24" is really big. Dixons showed it off ... Read review

HP w1907v Monitor
Review of HP W1907v by kindlyraccoon

Advantages: easy to use/set up. Widescreen. Built in speakers.
Disadvantages: Not enough base on sound

I have spent my christmas money on this monitor. Looking at its clarity in the store made me decide to go for it. Getting home and taking it out of the box, I was pleased with the way it was protected against knocks and bumps. Plenty of cover over the screen to stop scratches. When I got its base fastened to the screen it was then I realised how heavy it was. It sits nice and firm on the desk. The tilting mechanism works great although a bit tight ...
...I would of licked it to adjust upwards aswell, but for the price its good. A 19 inch wide screen is definatly good for watching movies with. Connecting it up to the computer is with the VGA socket (the blue multi pinned one) and no other one is there so one thing to think about when you buy it. The cable is supplied with the unit though. The nice thing about the power cable is it does not have a mains dropper on it. You plug straight into the mains ... Read review
