I've been using the IBM L150 in work for a while now, so I reckon I'm in a good position to write a review. The overall appearance is simple and functional. All the connectors are concealed within the case, keeping the appearance tidy, though it was a bit fiddly setting it up - but then I only had to do that once! I have spent my christmas money on this monitor. Looking at its clarity in the store made me decide to go for it. Getting home and taking it out of the box, I was pleased with the way it was protected against knocks and bumps. Plenty of cover over the screen to stop scratches. When I got its base fastened to the screen it was then I realised how heavy it was. It sits nice and firm on the desk. The tilting mechanism works great although a bit tight ...
...I would of licked it to adjust upwards aswell, but for the price its good. A 19 inch wide screen is definatly good for watching movies with. I have owned one of these for over a year and I'm VERY impressed with this monitor! I think I paid about £120 for it from eBuyer and it's the best monitor I've ever owned. The picture is crisp, clear and wonderfully bright. No dead pixels and the refresh rate is amazing, never a jerk in sight (except when my brother visits... jerk!) ...been using it with OpenSUSE 9, 10, and 11 (Linux) and I've had no problem it whatsoever. I haven't tried the sound as I use separate speakers for my audio but I doubt they will boom out thumping bass. However, if they're as good as the screen itself, you shouldn't be too disappointed.
