Advantages: Flatscreen
Disadvantages: Maybe too small for some people

This flat TFT screen is what I have been using for my desktop for a few years now. It has withstood anything that has been thrown at it.. (literally) and works in perfect condition. Advantage of course is that it is flat screen so takes up very little desk space. Integrated speakers at the bottom of the monitor make it save even more space if you don't want hi tech speakers. ...x 768 at maximum which is definitely adequate for most work. The design of the monitor definitely suits my area well as it is silver which matches the base unit, speakers and 'Xp-pen' . Not had a single problem with this since i set it up for use. Minor problem setting it up as the cable linking it to the base unit is pugged in quite awkwardly at the bottom but nothing major, I'll know to plug that in first next time... This LG L1515S monitor is a stylish, compact type of monitor with provisions for hanging it like a picture in the wall. Noe I have been using it for the last couple of years with excellent satisfaction. The clarity of the display is very good providing pleasant display for our eyes. Advantages: Small footprint
Disadvantages: Small resolution

...plunge and went for this LG monitor as it had been recommended to me by a friend. The footprint is very small and makes room on the desk for other things such as the keyboard! I was disappointed, however, with the external power supply which cannot be powered by the computer. The monitor is also lacking in USB ports which seem to be appearing on many monitors these days. ...up for this. The quality of the output is very good and was noticably improved when used with a quality video card (Radeon 9000 PRO 128DDR Ram). There are no "static pixels" (permanently one colour) and I know of no-one that has seen a static pixel on one of these screens. This is the monitor I bought from www.ebuyer.com when I decided to build my own pc. It cost £125 including postage. This is a budget 15" TFT screen. You might be able to buy one for £100 but this is about the cheapest. The looks of this monitor are excellent.
