Monitor
Review of ADI MicroScan 9L by
gorrila
Advantages: Supports large number of resolution and never caused any problems
Disadvantages: large and quite heavy
...very easily adjusted.
The ADI micros scan has served me well and has never had any problems what so ever and has even lasted me moving house despite it being quite heavy and bulky. I wanted to buy another but could not find one when I decide to a dual monitor set up, if I had had the opportunity to buy a 2nd micro scan I would have jumped at it.
The setting interface is simple and easy to use with only three buttons to adjust and navigate - great!
... ...of the viewable interface, I changed the pincushion once when messing about with it and the edges are slightly off line, this is not a big deal but I have never been able to properly correct this no matter what I do, it is possible it is just me who is at fault though - if anyone else gets this problem plz say. ...

Its Fab To Watch Corrie in HD!
Review of Samsung SyncMaster T240HD by
scotlandizdabest
Advantages: Fantastic Picture And Price
Disadvantages: Took 3 People To Put The TV On The Bloody Stand!
...over.
About It
The Samsung T240 HD is a flat screen TV which has Freeview built in, as long as you are able to access it in your area. This TV is fantastic if you are wanting to update your older one, and because of the Digital switch over that will be happening around the country, it will then save you buying a new freeview box as well. It is also HD ready which means you will be able to plug in a Blu-Ray player, PS3, Xbox 360 or any other ... ...originally going to buy a Samsung TV. We were going to stay with Sony as that is really what we would usually buy. We were always pretty loyal customers. We went to the local Dixons which has 100's of TVs on show. What was proven was that Sony was not a big player anymore. The Samsung appealed most because of the quality. It was next to a LG which wasn't as good as the Samsung. But the size of it is we, at 24" is really big. Dixons showed it off ...

HP w1907v Monitor
Review of HP W1907v by
kindlyraccoon
Advantages: easy to use/set up. Widescreen. Built in speakers.
Disadvantages: Not enough base on sound
I have spent my christmas money on this monitor. Looking at its clarity in the store made me decide to go for it.
Getting home and taking it out of the box, I was pleased with the way it was protected against knocks and bumps. Plenty of cover over the screen to stop scratches.
When I got its base fastened to the screen it was then I realised how heavy it was. It sits nice and firm on the desk. The tilting mechanism works great although a bit tight ... ...I would of licked it to adjust upwards aswell, but for the price its good. A 19 inch wide screen is definatly good for watching movies with. Connecting it up to the computer is with the VGA socket (the blue multi pinned one) and no other one is there so one thing to think about when you buy it. The cable is supplied with the unit though.
The nice thing about the power cable is it does not have a mains dropper on it. You plug straight into the mains ...

Review of ViewSonic VA1616w by
sreejithsai
Advantages: Low cost and high quality
Disadvantages: Nothing
I recently purchased this product from a retail shop in my city by replacing my old CRT monitor.I am running a computer institute and have different brands of monitor.Fifty percent of monitor i am using is from this brand and i am fully satisfied with its performance.Picture quality is fine and resolution is fine. The blue power button plus led is looking good.In the working mode it is blue in color and off mode its orange in color. It is easy operate ... ...and affordable. As far as service is considered, the company is providing all service and support both through different service centers.I am fully satisfied with over all performances.I recommend this product to all.If we are getting better performance at lower price, then we have to select that brand. Before buying any LCD monitor, first compare its price and quality with all other monitors available in the market or you can consult a person who is ...

A bloody good monitor at a cheap price!
Review of Cibox C2201 by
horseman_uk
Advantages: Cheap, excellent picture, bright, vibrant.
Disadvantages: None!
I have owned one of these for over a year and I'm VERY impressed with this monitor! I think I paid about £120 for it from eBuyer and it's the best monitor I've ever owned. The picture is crisp, clear and wonderfully bright. No dead pixels and the refresh rate is amazing, never a jerk in sight (except when my brother visits... jerk!)
With a resolution of 1680x1050 (SWXGA+) it's perfect for widescreen films and playing games you naturally want to ... ...been using it with OpenSUSE 9, 10, and 11 (Linux) and I've had no problem it whatsoever.
I haven't tried the sound as I use separate speakers for my audio but I doubt they will boom out thumping bass. However, if they're as good as the screen itself, you shouldn't be too disappointed.
Buy one, you won't regret it. ...
