SAMSUNG SYNCMASTER 720N MONITOR - TOP NOTCH
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 720N by
traveller10
Advantages: Size & quality
Disadvantages: None that I could see
Hi and thanks for reading my review on this super monitor. I hope this will be of use to you and I would really appreciate it if you could give my review a rating at the end.
Ok, well I think I'll start with cost....
**********COST***********
This monitor is excellent value for money. On the internet you can get it from as low as $179.00
To me I really do think that for a 17 inch monitor, it is not a bad deal at all.
***********FEATURES**********
... ...lack off!!!) of this monitor. It is a 17 inch screen but the net weight is only - 9.7 lbs Another brilliant thing is the ease of connection. It really is a plug and go monitor !!!!! For anybody out there, like myself, who cannot stand those manuals that make no sense at all, then this really is for you.
This monitor comes in Black, which was perfect for me, but obviously colour is purely a personal choice thing. I do think that the colour and design ...

Samsung SyncMaster 740N
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 740N by
Ajish
Advantages: Stylish design,Needs less space,High quality image, low power consumption,Relatively inexpensive
Disadvantages: The only disadvantage is that it looks dim when looking from the end side.
I bought samsung syncmaster one year ago and from my point of view this 17"monitor is really good. And the most unique feature is that its sleek and smooth designing tempts anyone. It requires minimum space. It even supports fast moving games and also movies very well.It is relatively inexpensive compared to other LCD monitors. It does not produce too much radiation and hence less eye strain. The wide viewing angle(160 degree) of this monitor really works ...

Low price, well made office workhorse
Review of SAMTRON 73V by
snaffler
Advantages: Cheap, sturdy clear bright image.
Disadvantages: Colour balance OTT
The main advantage of this slimline 17 inch TFT screen is that it is cheap and well put together with an acceptable image. Materials, controls and cables all seem robust and not at all flimsy.
Menu's are not the most intuitive, but if you have any experience of setting up screens you'll cope.
Looks like it could be wallmounted too - but this isn't clear. Built in stand allows a small amount of tilt angle adjustment .
Only a standard video connection ... ...any better with a digital port, and you weren't going to try any serious design with one of these anyhow, were you?
25 ms response times mean you won't be using this with the latest snortingly powerful games machine, but it'll be OK for the occasional dabbler.
Summary
Although the image is not the best around by any means, it is fine for general office work, wordprocessing, report writing etc.
Overall, well put together, good value CRT replacement ...

SyncMaster 710N is it worth a look
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 710 N by
skrg28
Advantages: Good Quality build and viewing
Disadvantages: no carry handle
...monitor recently with a new Samsung Syncmaster 710N for what I thought was a good price of £149
So far I am pretty pleased with it. Prices seems to vary but I would say if you can get it cheaper than £150 then go and buy one. I recently found these on PCworld.co.uk for a small £119…..great price
Description
---------------
I was impressed with this piece of kit when I unpacked it. For one I didn't think it was that heavy, perhaps not the lightest ... ...Samsung quality. The one thing I did notice was that there was no handle to hold it with. A lot of monitors have a recess to get your fingers in to allow you to carry it, no such luck here though.
Assembling the monitor was easy, attaching the base stand took no time at all and was well described.
In the base stand there is a large loop hole at the back. Being an idiot it took me a while to work out that this was actually a cable feed. You run ...

"Premium" TV/Monitor for a not so "Premium" price
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 730MW by
yassarikhan786
Advantages: high quality, TV and radio capabilities, integrated speaker system
Disadvantages: slight chance of experiencing problems with display output.
I have had my Samsung SyncMaster 730 MW for over 3 years now and it has been very reliable over the period of time i have had it. For £300 i got a widescreen 17" high resolution display, with a maximum resolution of 1280x1024 and colour support up to 16.2 million colours (32-bit).
In the box you obviously get the monitor, a remote control, essential wires to 1. Connect the monitor to the PC, 2. Connect power to the monitor and 3. To gain access ... ...they will work perfectly as Samsung are very popular and famous for their levels of reliability and customer satisfaction. The one function i have tested is the radio function, which is accessible via the press of a button on the included remote control or via the monitor itself. On the remote control the "radio function" button is located on the top right of the remote control just under the number 9 and on the monitor you will find it directly ...
