Formac Gallery Xtreme -5
Review of Formac Gallery 2010 Xtreme-5 by gojo23

Advantages: great image quality, design and clarity
Disadvantages: none found yet

...I previously owned a 17\" Formac but it had been with me since 1997 and was getting a little tired to say the least! Well, eventually I plucked up the courage to spend my hard earned cash on the Formac Gallery 2010 Xtreme-5. All, I can say is wowweee! it is absolutely fantastic the styling is sleek and it does what it says - gives you excellent colour and image display. I really like the fact that it has two usb points on the back of the monitor ... Read review

Superb Product
Review of BenQ FP93GX by kammakjuj

Advantages: crisp display, fast response, almost everything i can think of!
Disadvantages: 4:3 aspect

Just got this recently to replace my old Belinea 101530, and it was an excellent replacement. I was a bit sceptical about getting this when I was looking about, I saw the specs and say that it had response time of 2ms, great but the contrast ratio and brightness were not the best I'd seen on the net. Got the monitor and was not disappointed in the slightest! There really isn't much to say about this but I'll try... The monitor has a 19 inch screen ...
...this monitor is 1280x1024 which doesn't seem much better than older monitors but is adequate for the size of the screen. The brightness of the monitor is excellent, watching videos on the computer is now far more enjoyable now that I can actually see all the detail! As normal the brightness and contrast are set half way, I found that I had no need to change this, I did experiment with different settings but the default is fine. The only disadvantage ... Read review

A Good Monitor
Review of Philips 200WB7ES by Luke-W

Advantages: Good Max Resolution
Disadvantages: Not many customer change features

This monitor is great for the average home computer. It is a decent size to watch movies, play games etc. on it. It had a good max resolution so not everything is cramped together, Im currently using this screen and i would give it a good 9/10. The colour quality is good, The only thing this product lacks is the control to change to screens position & other key features. It does however have a auto-adjust button that does basically everything for ... Read review

Its Fab To Watch Corrie in HD!
Review of Samsung SyncMaster T240HD by scotlandizdabest

Advantages: Fantastic Picture And Price
Disadvantages: Took 3 People To Put The TV On The Bloody Stand!

...over. About It The Samsung T240 HD is a flat screen TV which has Freeview built in, as long as you are able to access it in your area. This TV is fantastic if you are wanting to update your older one, and because of the Digital switch over that will be happening around the country, it will then save you buying a new freeview box as well. It is also HD ready which means you will be able to plug in a Blu-Ray player, PS3, Xbox 360 or any other ...
...originally going to buy a Samsung TV. We were going to stay with Sony as that is really what we would usually buy. We were always pretty loyal customers. We went to the local Dixons which has 100's of TVs on show. What was proven was that Sony was not a big player anymore. The Samsung appealed most because of the quality. It was next to a LG which wasn't as good as the Samsung. But the size of it is we, at 24" is really big. Dixons showed it off ... Read review

HP w1907v Monitor
Review of HP W1907v by kindlyraccoon

Advantages: easy to use/set up. Widescreen. Built in speakers.
Disadvantages: Not enough base on sound

I have spent my christmas money on this monitor. Looking at its clarity in the store made me decide to go for it. Getting home and taking it out of the box, I was pleased with the way it was protected against knocks and bumps. Plenty of cover over the screen to stop scratches. When I got its base fastened to the screen it was then I realised how heavy it was. It sits nice and firm on the desk. The tilting mechanism works great although a bit tight ...
...I would of licked it to adjust upwards aswell, but for the price its good. A 19 inch wide screen is definatly good for watching movies with. Connecting it up to the computer is with the VGA socket (the blue multi pinned one) and no other one is there so one thing to think about when you buy it. The cable is supplied with the unit though. The nice thing about the power cable is it does not have a mains dropper on it. You plug straight into the mains ... Read review
