Quality Display
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 225BW by
Farrukh
Advantages: Excellent display, response time
Disadvantages: Limited input options
The Samsung 22" monitor is a beautiful display for the price. The image is rich and clear, and more screen real estate than you'd ever need for daily computer usage (a good thing). That and the quick 5ms response time makes it perfect for games, especially shooters. I had previously been using a dual monitor setup with two 17" CRTs but this monitor by itself easily replaces both of them.
There's only one problem--just be careful when you move the ... ...up, you can't really grip the monitor anywhere without awkwardly supporting the base with your other hand. The first time I lifted it by the neck alone, the locking pin slipped out and I thought the thing was gonna snap. It's a minor problem though, and once you set it up on your desk you have a great display that will make your friends jealous. ...

22" of visual satisfaction
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 2253BW by

Advantages: Bright, crisp display, widescreen, top specs
Disadvantages: no height adjustment.
...photoshopping etc. Anyway, Samsung has always been considered a very well known brand in the world of computer displays. This model, the Syncmaster 2253BW is among the last line of Samsung displays where they actually build their own TFT panels. So for less than £150 from Dabs, I thought I'd snap it up, especially considering the specs that came with it.
In short, the important specs:
22" widescreen
DVI and VGA inputs (with HDCP)
1000:1 (8000:1 ... ...resoultion
First impressions are that this is not a rather large monitor, it is also rather good looking. The thin black gloss bezel around the main display is complemented by a nice clear plastic along the bottom, of which the control buttons are behind and power light is reflected onto. This blue power LED is rather bright and can get distracting at times, although it is very useful if you have left your monitor on without knowing as it blinks ...

We should all have one of these
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 225MD by
goblingee
Advantages: looks good, is good,
Disadvantages: cant think of any right now
I own 2 of these screens/tv's, Working in the events industry and working with technology on a daily basis I can honestly say that for what it is the syncmaster 225md is in my opinion the best screen of its size on the market for the general consumer.
Not only does this screen carry the full range of inputs (more than most of us would ever need to use) but the outside appearance is also stunning, nice, shiny and sleek looking and we have not even ... ...built in freeview tuner is always a bonus whatever your intended use for the screen and the choice of dvi/vga for computer input is nice too, I predominantly use one of these as my second monitor for 3d graphic visualization, the image is incredibly sharp, very clear and the contrast is excellent.
I would recommend this screen to my Mum I think its that good. ...

Review of Samsung SyncMaster 226BW by

Advantages: Great display, amazing colours and fairly decent price.
Disadvantages: The stand for the monitor isn't fantastic, but it does the job.
...As always I think Samsung continue to manufacture some of the best displays that are out there and this screen is no exception. It has an amazingly fast 2ms response time which means no ghosting or anything you might get with other LCD displays.
One of the best monitors in this price range I have laid my eyes on. ...

Amazing monitor, well worth the buy.
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 2232BW by
croftdog
Advantages: Easy to use, excellent display.
Disadvantages: have to clean quite often
This is currently the best monitor on the market in my opinion. It gives a crystal clear display and easy to opporate. I use it for my PC and my playstation and can switch between the two just by pressing one button. I use a HDMI lead for my playstation which goes into the digital port on the monitor, and the PC goes into the analogue port. You get a little duster with the monitor also which attracts dust so you can keep it clean. I haven't had any ...
