This is my review for the View Sonic VA703b. I have been using this monitor now for close to 2 years and I have no problems with it.
Instead of just being compatible with VGA it also works with the new(ish) DVI at the same time.
It is an alright 17". This is OK if you want it for office work but if you want it for games, videos and pictures it is good but you would be better off with a 19" or bigger. I do play games on it and it still works quite ... ...time.
It has really good reaction time and this is the reason why I got it. At a very low 8ms (mili seconds) it just gives a clear image every time.
I delighted to find out that it is compatible with vista.
It has 1280x1024 native resolution that delivers incredible image detail for sharp text and graphics.
It has a high brightness and contrast. The brightness is 280-nit usually. The contrast ratio is 600:1 and that gives detailed images.
