Superb Product
Review of BenQ FP93GX by kammakjuj

Advantages: crisp display, fast response, almost everything i can think of!
Disadvantages: 4:3 aspect

Just got this recently to replace my old Belinea 101530, and it was an excellent replacement. I was a bit sceptical about getting this when I was looking about, I saw the specs and say that it had response time of 2ms, great but the contrast ratio and brightness were not the best I'd seen on the net. Got the monitor and was not disappointed in the slightest! There really isn't much to say about this but I'll try... The monitor has a 19 inch screen ...
...this monitor is 1280x1024 which doesn't seem much better than older monitors but is adequate for the size of the screen. The brightness of the monitor is excellent, watching videos on the computer is now far more enjoyable now that I can actually see all the detail! As normal the brightness and contrast are set half way, I found that I had no need to change this, I did experiment with different settings but the default is fine. The only disadvantage ... Read review

A monitor to die for
Review of Sony StylePro SDM-S94/B by Lucien500

Advantages: Good picture quality
Disadvantages: It's not very flexible

Sony STYLEPRO SDM-S94/B Today, I thought that I should do a review on a topic I have never done before… computers! I'd admit that I have no idea about computers and things, but I hope a brief guide into this monitor (which I have!) will a) tell others about the quality of my one, and b) test my writing ability on a topic I don't know much on! ---Cost--- I bought this monitor from PC world in last September as I bought myself my first desktop! ...
...I had no luck. I found a member of staff, and I asked if they had any monitors at a bargain price. He said the only ones which were reduced there were the products with problems, so he showed me them! Immediately, I saw this monitor standing over the others. It was originally £700, but it had been reduced down to £200 as a pixel had died (I can't even see it now). It came in the box with instructions, a power cable, and lead to your computer. So, ... LG 1953T review
Review of LG L1953T by danorge

Advantages: Fast respons time - easy to install - DVI-D and Analog
Disadvantages: Plastic foot.

When i bourt the LG 1953T LCD screen, it came with intructions and a installation CD. I did not have any problems installing the sofware. My peronal experience with the screen is very good, i have never got any troubles with "dead" pixels or lag in online games. the 2ms respons time is very usefull when playing online Shoot'em'up games. The resolutions the screen can use is what to expect from a LCD screen. The Design is a simple. What i like about ...
...and guide to install or update drivers. The options to have both DVI-D and analog in. The power is placed on the back of the screen so it have a clean design on the front. What i dont like The foot to the LG1953L screen it is made out of plastic. ... Read review

Adequate, but not special
Review of Acer AL1916Wds by antoniosteve

Advantages: Clear image, intuitive menu
Disadvantages: Limited vertical adjustment, large space requirement

...sharp images. As with most Acer monitors, I find their option menus to be more intuitive than most, which is good for avoiding confusion! Unfortunately, there are a few problems with this product that can limit its value at home. The biggest problem I found were the very large stand bases; being larger than the LG screens I used before, they take up a LOT of desk space - be prepared to have to do some rearranging if you opt for this monitor. They ... Read review

Acer AL1916W
Review of Acer AL1916ws by hnilesp

Advantages: Easy to use, good quality
Disadvantages: design is a bit dull

Awesome monitor which delivers brilliant picture quality. It's custom made for watching movies and playing computer games as it encompasses a large area within its widescreen. Easy to use because it's plug and play compatible. Power consumption is acceptably low. Occasionally the lines in the screen are visible but that can be ignored since that's the norm with many TFT displays. Easy to the eye to watch images on this monitor. The design is acceptable ...
