I got this monitor for christmas and have been using it for my PC and PS3. It's FullHD (1080p) and has 6 video inputs. (HDMI, DVI-D, D-Sub (or VGA), S-Video, and Composite and Component). It has a very nice stand and comes with a number of cables. It has two USBs at the side and one of the top for webcams. In use, I've loved it. ...(20000:1 rather than 1000:1) however I have never noticed this ever being a problem. It has many viewing options, 1:1, aspect and full. Which gives you the option to either view 1080p at native res or strech it to fill the screen. I brought my Samsung 931BW LCD monitor around 5 months ago and after doing a fair bit of research (mostly PC reviews) I brought this one from currys for just under £150. Previous to buying this one I had a very old CRT monitor. The Samsung synmaster 931bw is a 19 inch Widescreen with a 1440x900 resolution producing 16.7million colours. ...horrible headache!!! But i rang samsung and they shipped me another one straight away, apparently it was just a manufacturing fault!!! My new one had a crystal clear display and i never had problems with it! It showed DVD's very well and every page was shown correctly!!! No need to install anything because as with most monitors... all you have to do is plug them in!!! Samsung have definitely produced a great TFT monitor here for anyone and everyone! ... Read review

I have recently bought this monitor because my old monitor blew up. It's been a while since i have bought a monitor due to the fact they tend to last for years, so even tho i know a lot about computers i don't really know much about this type thing.
