Iiyama - a name to trust
Review of Iiyama Pro Lite E380S by
Plymyphil
Advantages: Quality, design
Disadvantages: Price
...harddrive and most importantly an Iiyama 14" monitor.
Sadly the wages department of the hotel restaurant I worked through that long and tedious summer dictated a few small changes. The PC eventually became a 386 processor running at 40MHz, 4Mb RAM, 120Mb harddrive and no Iiyama monitor. Instead of the Iiyama I had some rebadged monitor with a huge curve and a low refresh rate. The Iiyama was the first thing to drop off the list as it saved the most ... ...than counterparts products.
Now, Iiyama still lead the field and this product, despite sitting at the budget end of the Iiyama product line is still a remarkably high quality monitor.
I have used these for about six months now and they came as part of a PC package so I can't say exactly how much we paid. It probably added about £250.00 to the price then but I expect careful shopping would see them available for nearer to £200.00 now.

...This is not an issue if you dont have a problem, but if it does break then the screen will need to go to a specialist for a new 1.

Everyone should own this!
Review of Iiyama Pro Lite H380-B by
Bolly_eggs
Advantages: supports high resolution. large 15 inch screen.
Disadvantages: non that spring to mind.
...in electricity.
To summarise the Iiyama ProLite E380S-B is a top-quality monitor at a very reasonable price, I’m incredibly happy with the way it is performing and it looks gorgeous, the screen is not so bright that it hurts your eyes nor to dark that you cannot distinguish the finery, it has a soft glow which will allow long periods of use. For 190 quid you could definitely spend your money on a worse monitor.
Hope you enjoyed my review, Oli.

Promises so much, Delivers so little - Avoid!
Review of LG Flatron L227WT by
Steboyuk
Advantages: Looks
Disadvantages: Actualy quality of the product
Having owned this monitor for around 6 months, and with no reviews wrote on it so far, I feel it needs one.
Personally, I have always liked this screen. It is definatly a massive improvement on my old big Screen. It looks stunning on your desk, and the picture always looked fine, espeically on quick moving action, say I if I were streaming live sport for example!
However, it didnt wow me as much as I wouldve hoped considering the price I paid, ... ...equipment instantly writed it off and claimed it was a shocking monitor considering the price. Having looked further into this, I can see see why - tests done on the screen show that the color fidelity is shockingly bad, for example one result is that they are totally off. With default settings the average difference is 7.8 and this is one of the worst measurements we've taken in the last few years. Not a single color is well rendered! In general, ...

Samsung SyncMaster 740N
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 740N by
Ajish
Advantages: Stylish design,Needs less space,High quality image, low power consumption,Relatively inexpensive
Disadvantages: The only disadvantage is that it looks dim when looking from the end side.
I bought samsung syncmaster one year ago and from my point of view this 17"monitor is really good. And the most unique feature is that its sleek and smooth designing tempts anyone. It requires minimum space. It even supports fast moving games and also movies very well.It is relatively inexpensive compared to other LCD monitors. It does not produce too much radiation and hence less eye strain. The wide viewing angle(160 degree) of this monitor really works ...
