Best Picture Ever!
Review of HP W1907v by wendyduddy

Advantages: TOP QUALITY PICTURE
Disadvantages: n/a

I have had this monitor for approx 18 months. It is great looking and picture quality is wonderful (it's certainly better than my flat screen tv!) I have a little problem with my computer not remembering the settings for the screen so every time i turn on my computer my icons are as large as life and i have to re-set the settings in control panel - this problem started approx. 9 months ago when i installed Symantic Norton 360 - so not sure what the ...
...the monitor but i can't get rid of the problem. But to be honest the picture quality is so great than i'm happy to have this little inconvenience. I'd certainly say that if a disaster happened and my screen got smashed or something i'd be straight out to buy the same monitor again. I wouldn't bother looking anywhere else. I purchased it from Tesco Home in Staines, but you can get it from Tesco Direct. Do a search i'm sure you'll find it cheaper somewhere. ... Read review

Lovely monitor
Review of HP W2007v by B_O_M_B_A

Advantages: Clear screen, easy set up, cheap
Disadvantages: sometimes text unclear.

I recently purcahsed this monitor from John Lewis at a very reasonable price, lower than i see it available today. The monitor itself was ready to go straight from the box. The brightview technology is superior to a standard CRT or even 99% of LCD monitors i have seen, the picture is clear and crisp and shows photos off magnificently. A small downfall is that sometimes when reading text it can be slightly blurry, but all you need to do then is use ...
...happens once in a month if that. the 1000:1 contrast ratio is fine for this sized screen, blacks are brilliantly black and highlight the colours, the clearscreen is clearly the way forward in the future. I would suggest this Monitor too all but especially those who play computer game, watch tv or films on their comp, not neccessary for those who just use the internet etc. The black rim around the edge also highlights the monitor, similar to the samsung ... A little brother TFT to our 19 inch monsters
Review of HP L1706 by andycharger

Advantages: Great picture, good colour depth, good features
Disadvantages: No sound

...user here at work of HP products nowadays. The reasoning behind this is we need reliability and quality of service and products. We want a good product that is robust enough to last the test of time with the staff! So while I was giving my IT team and developers were a huge screen resolution to maximise their working space, I opted for the little brother equivalent for the general office floor. After all, screen size is a little less important and ...
...even compliments the new DC7700 HP Pcs we have just purchased. In fact it is an identical copy of the L1906 I have already reviewed but with 2 inches less to view! This screen is very responsive and has excellent refresh rates and depth of colour. This is equally at home in the office for diplaying presentations and general work or for lightning quick action games at home. It also offers a terrific crisp and clear picture and the screen delivers ... Read review

A good example of a widescreen flat panel monitor.
Review of HP W19 by sg1queen

Advantages: Silver effect, Neat design.
Disadvantages: Can't be tilted, only sits upright

I have been using this monitor now for 6 months, and i don't know how i coped before without a widescreen. I use spreadsheets very often and it's so nice to be able to see more columns than before, due to the extra width. I have found it to be very sturdy, and have a good picture quality. No blown pixels as yet. It has an auto configure button to adjust the brightness and contrast which works well. It is tempting to try to turn it off by pushing ... Read review
