Stylish on anyones Desk Advantages: Stylish, Excellent Display, Well Built Disadvantages: Glass front prone to smudges. I purchased one of these over 2 years ago now and have been happy ever since! The stylish design would look good on anyone's desk both in the office and at home. The build quality is excellent and the use of the glass front gives the added protection that many other TFT monitors lack. The picture quality is sharp and crisp with no dead pixels. A MUST-NOT for your PC... Advantages: Cheap Disadvantages: You'll soon find out why its cheap... As I'm writing this review, Im looking at this display screen now as my words appear under a camouflage of finger prints and smudging. I'm currently at my college where I study, and my college has bought over 300 of these screens in recent years. The AG screen is by far one of the cheapest monitor screens for computers you can buy (hence why my college has so many). The screen, although resiliant to the aggresive use of students has so many flaws ... ...buy such a screen. The screen only has to be brushed and smudges appear which take a lifetime to 'work' out. Quite often, the colour contrast settings will abruptly change and you'll be left startled and quite scared as a thousand pixelated colours appear screaming out at you. This inturn causes you to have to reboot your computer to sort out the 'flaw'. The monitors are very heavy, movement is limited due to the alluminium alloy on the outside ... Classy LCD Screen Advantages: Design, Quality of materials used, Screen Quality Disadvantages: Weight (However shows that it's solid) Have owned this AG Neovo E-19A for about 5 months now and have had no problems at all with it. The screen is made from very high quality materials, Aluminium, Steel, Glass. Only pieces that are made from plastic but nevertheless look very good are the buttons for power, screen controls, volume and contrast. This monitor comes with integrated speakers which to my surprise have a very nice treble quality but as I use a 7.1 surround system, I don't ... ...screen there's a big AG Neovo logo in silver so if the monitor is on a desk facing the rest of a room, it'll look quality rather than a plain boring back. The monitor is quite heavy but that's due to the metal and glass construction. There are accessories available with this monitor such as a TV tuner box to make the screen a TV, an LCD arm and wall mount kit, all original made by AG Neovo themselves. AG Neovo M17b Advantages: Unique design with USB ports and headphone sockets Disadvantages: only one usb data port, 2nd is power only I chose this monitor mainly for the USB port on the front which means I no longer have to reach around the back of my PC to plug in my memory stick or phone. The display is bright and easily adjustable to suit your needs which you can switch quickly through several preset modes, including text and gaming. The M17 series also features an eye saver mode, which dims the screen every hour (or at an interval you choose) reminding you to take a break ... ...is superb, handling 3d games and office documents with ease and at a large 1280x1024 resolution, gives you pleanty of space to work with. Excellent Dual use monitor/tv Advantages: stylish, value for money, great picture, great sound Disadvantages: signal may be affected by internet signal, dark shadows when lying down or playing dark games I absloutely adore this monitor! Bought as a replacement for my old 17" massive old style monitor it was certainly a refreshing change! Pricey at its then selling price of £200 I would say that it has certainly lived up to its price tag. Firstly the monitor can be used for dual purposes - for example if you don't have a TV no worries you can use this instead. It comes with a handy remote that lets you switch between inputs for example your computer ... ...can choose to take up. The remote also gives every option you would get on a normal TV remote, i.e. volume, brightnes, program up and down, menu options and the choice to press the tv numbers if you so wish. It comes with digital TV already built in so if you've not quite got round to buying a set top box and don't want to get cable or sky then this is all you need.
