Superb 17 Inch Flat Screen Advantages: Fantastic range of equipment Disadvantages: None ...superb. I choice the Belinea 10 17 10 TFT flat screen, resolution 1280 x 1024 with built in speakers, because it looked professional and was the most cost effective I could find. I have been using the display for 1 week now and cannot fault it. Although it is not until you see a traditional monitor that you appreciate the desk space being saved. Indeed my desk looks less cluttered with just as much 'work in progress' as before. Brilliant Belinea Advantages: Very attractive appearance, slimline, smart and good quality Disadvantages: Some people prefer chunky monitors, and if this is you, then this isn't the right choice ...little uncertain about purchasing a Belinea monitor- I'd never bought anything from, or heard much about, this company before. But despite not being as prestigious as a brand like Sony, this little monitor is wonderful. As a personal fan of TFT's, I'd say it's perfect, especially on space-saving and for a modern, updated look for your workspace. An excellent monitor for the LCD-wary Advantages: excellent viewing angles, great contrast, good colour, tiltable screen Disadvantages: belinea's hot pixel policy, no calibration software ...8ms new version of the Belinea 10 19 20, not the older 600:1 25ms one whose spec is listed above. Since LCD screens flooded in to dominate the monitor market, I've remained a steadfast CRT fan and LCD skeptic . LCD monitors I'd seen in shops were too contrasty, with shadows that went quickly to black and screens that changed colour and contrast dramatically depending on the viewing angle. Great value for money, a great screen. Advantages: High resolution, two applications open at the same time. Disadvantages: Slow changing from black to white. Not major though. Amazed. Simple amazed, this screen is a perfect addition to any computer, with a resolution of 1680 x 1050 you can easily fit both a word document or PDF file and an Internet browser. Its just so practical, when I brought it I had a tight budget and so got the biggest size I could with what I had. When it arrived I thought, no way this is mine its huge! Good affordable option (Belinea 1730 S1) Advantages: Cheap, simple to use, stylish Disadvantages: Lack of resolution options As a school ICT teacher monitors are obviously important to me. We have kitted out our classrooms with the 1730s for a variety of reasons. Firstly they proved to be one of the best value models that our supplier could provide us with. I can't say exactly how much they cost us per unit but suffice to say it was cheap. When our inspection unit arrived we were delighted to find it had a hardened screen covering which means that we have had no failures ... ...fairtly limited but the auto settings and auto adjust cope with most things we throe at it from a school point of view. The viewing real estate is good with a reasonably small bezel all around and built in speakers at the bottom of the unit. Style wise the silver effect fits in with most modern equipment and the large base provides a good solid base which adds stability.
