G2411HD, never been happier with a purchase

Advantages: picture quality, high resolution, fast response rate, great color
Disadvantages: design

This monitor (BenQ G2411HD) is great for everything. The picture, the color, 1080p, they all make using your computer a joy. Even web browsing is more fun. I use it for a lot of things that take advantage of its features. I do a lot of things with office, especially excel, where I need to have multiple pages open and the 1080p high resolution lets me put pages side by side and have more room to work with other things. Movie watching on it is especially ...
...GREAT with Blu-ray. Probably the best thing it has going is gaming. I have my Xbox 360 hooked up via HDMI and between the fast response rate (2ms) and the rediculous resolution and great color, I'm like a kid in a candy store. I play a lot of FPS and I've never been happier with a screen of any kind. If I had to pick a downside it would be the design, which is just a basic frame, but I don't care about stuff like that; it looks fine. I've had this ...

Great replacement - Save on the pocket and environment

Advantages: Vibrancy of images, Uses less power than conventional screens, Price
Disadvantages: Some videos can appear a bit grainy

...a half decent screen. Benq seemed to be renound for having a superlative range, quality and style. So in that regard I was determined to go for them. It was only when i saw the G920WL on special for under £100 that this abrupted me to go for it despite it only having just been released. I took a risk as there were no reviews on the G920WL. Upon reciept i was eager to get it up and running. In comparison to my former screen, the quality from the ...
...the only thing leting the Benq down is the fact that some videos uploaded from the internet can be a bit grainy when compared to the more traditional LCD monitors and the higher end specs. However, HQ videos are fine and you should not notice the difference too much. However, I feel that they could have bettered this by providing a quicker refresh rate, say that of 200 hz in view of overcoming this monitor setback. Another thing going for this screen ...

Fantastic value but don't expect a fantastic monitor

Advantages: Fantastic value, perfectly acceptable visuals
Disadvantages: Colours not as good as more expensive IPS screens, OSD is tricky to navigate, lack of adjustments

There's been a glut of 16:9 ratio monitors over the last few years which are gradually squeezing out the usual 16:10 format which has slightly more vertical space. While the G2420HD is a 16:9 monitor sporting a 1920 x 1080 resolution, I can vouch for the fact that you get used to the resolution very quickly and that's coming from someone who has a 24in 1920 x 1200 monitor at work and a 1680 x 1050 (also 16:10) monitor at home. The aspect ratio isn't ...
...fact that the G2420HD measures 24in diagonally rather than 23 like many 16:9 monitors out there so offers more space, significantly more so than 19in, 20in and 22in monitors that many people will be upgrading from. Setting it up was easy as the stand simply clicks into place with a minimum of fuss and while not height adjustable, is very sturdy and raises the panel just under 3in off the desk with the top reaching to just over 16in off the desk. ...

LED backlighting is the way to go

Advantages: GREAT image, colors and contrast are amazing, 1080p, fast response rate
Disadvantages: adjustment system could be better

I've been waiting for LED backlighting forever (at least it seems like it!), and this monitor really shows what you can do with the technology. The most striking difference is the contrast. I put Watchmen (for it's mix of very dark and very bright action scenes) on side by side with my Dell E248WFP, a CRT backlit display. It was amazing how much clearer the action was, especially in dark scenes where objects are often very difficult to distinguish. ...
...advantage of LED, the monitor itself has many advantages. The response rate is very fast, with very little or no input lag (which can be important for gaming). I think the adjustment system is OK, but it's good enough to do whatever you want, it's just hard to navigate at times. Also as a cool little addition it has a little cup-like piece where you can put whatever you want (I put a small cactus in mine!). With all the positives of the last generation ...

Excellence

Advantages: 1080P, 2 HDMI's, Blue LED, widescreen,
Disadvantages: None

I have read many reviews on this product and a lot of these seem to be putting down the sound on this product, I find the sound to be excellent on this TV, not only this but you get 1080P, highest picture quality currently available along with 2 HDMI's, a scart, a component, surround sound components and a PC input. The issue with sound is people need to get use to the fact you need it louder on different inputs such as scart having a lower sound ...
...this and the display is crisp, on this TV I have experienced the best sound and picture quality I have ever experienced with a TV, the User Interface is easy to understand and anyone can learn how to fiddle with the settings. The design is magnificent as the blue LED light just shows off its sheer magnificence, I am so glad i bought this TV and I cannot see myself regretting this purchase, 10/10 ...
