G2411HD, never been happier with a purchase Advantages: picture quality, high resolution, fast response rate, great color Disadvantages: design This monitor (BenQ G2411HD) is great for everything. The picture, the color, 1080p, they all make using your computer a joy. Even web browsing is more fun. I use it for a lot of things that take advantage of its features. I do a lot of things with office, especially excel, where I need to have multiple pages open and the 1080p high resolution lets me put pages side by side and have more room to work with other things. Movie watching on it is especially ... ...GREAT with Blu-ray. Probably the best thing it has going is gaming. I have my Xbox 360 hooked up via HDMI and between the fast response rate (2ms) and the rediculous resolution and great color, I'm like a kid in a candy store. I play a lot of FPS and I've never been happier with a screen of any kind. If I had to pick a downside it would be the design, which is just a basic frame, but I don't care about stuff like that; it looks fine. Best BenQ Design + Powerful BenQ Gaming Monitor! Advantages: High connectivity, 2ms, Full HD Display, 1920x1080, HDMI, DVI, D-sub, awesome design! Disadvantages: I wish they contained all cables, but then that would increase the price. ...decision to stick with the BenQ instead of the Dell was the fact that the BenQ came with multiple adapter outlets: D-Sub, DVI, HDMI, which is extremely important to me because I need to connect my monitor to my console. Although the Dell was cheaper than the BenQ, the BenQ offered more for a small price bump. What also pushed me for the BenQ, was the fact that it offered 16:9, Full HD, 1080p display. The 2ms that comes with most TN panels was definitely ... ...imagined, not only does the BenQ offer more, it actually looks a lot better since it has a gloss rim around the LCD section! The edges of the monitor are rounded off and give a more modern feel to the unit itself. The brightness and picture quality is superb, one of the best I’ve seen on TN panels in the same price range! Acer P193W 19'' Advantages: Excellent colours, very good resolution easy to use Disadvantages: none really I bought this to replace a 15" CRT monitor, so maybe that is why I am so impressed, but this is a very good monitor. 1)Good picture. Whether playing games, looking at text, viewing photos etc. this monitor does well. It has a 1:2000 contrast ratio, which is very big for something of this price. There are several different modes of operation for pictures, movies, text and normal use. These are easy to find and use. It also has support for 1440x900 ... ...2)Looks nice. The casing around the monitor is plastic, but manages to not look one bit tacky. It has a stand but can be wall mounted with tools (though I haven't tried this). And was very happy with my purchase. Delivery was quick. And after a long wait, plugged it in to use. Excellent Dual use monitor/tv Advantages: stylish, value for money, great picture, great sound Disadvantages: signal may be affected by internet signal, dark shadows when lying down or playing dark games I absloutely adore this monitor! Bought as a replacement for my old 17" massive old style monitor it was certainly a refreshing change! Pricey at its then selling price of £200 I would say that it has certainly lived up to its price tag. Firstly the monitor can be used for dual purposes - for example if you don't have a TV no worries you can use this instead. It comes with a handy remote that lets you switch between inputs for example your computer ... ...can choose to take up. The remote also gives every option you would get on a normal TV remote, i.e. volume, brightnes, program up and down, menu options and the choice to press the tv numbers if you so wish. It comes with digital TV already built in so if you've not quite got round to buying a set top box and don't want to get cable or sky then this is all you need.
