excellant value for money Advantages: good Disadvantages: none I recently wrote a review of the Apple G4 cube. If you read it, you'll know that I was raving about this monitor. At 22 inches, it looks terrific even before it's been switched on. Maybe it's partly because I'm used to using a 15' monitor myself, but when I saw the Cinema Display's size and profile, it was like watching an episode of 'Tomorrow's World'. The monitor has a top resolution of 1600 by 1024 pixels. At this size, you can easily fit an A3 ... ...into the middle of the screen with plenty of room for pallets, etc. around it. At the top resolution, you can still do word processing, etc. without the words being too small to read. Sadly, most games don't support such a high resolution, but if you set the resolution lower, you still get a respectable view. While the resolution is fairly shocking to people like me, it's not that great compared with an average 22' monitor. nice flat screen monitor Advantages: nice, stable flat screen monitor Disadvantages: must be positioned perfectly In my experience with the compaq TFT8000 flat screen monitor i found that on a hole it is a great monitor for ur average home needs, using a great balance of resolutions and quality, i find the monitor easy to setup and use, the compaq TFT8000 offers a wide range of resolutions to suit your needs for the task you r performing on the monitor itself. Acer P193W 19'' Advantages: Excellent colours, very good resolution easy to use Disadvantages: none really I bought this to replace a 15" CRT monitor, so maybe that is why I am so impressed, but this is a very good monitor. 1)Good picture. Whether playing games, looking at text, viewing photos etc. this monitor does well. It has a 1:2000 contrast ratio, which is very big for something of this price. There are several different modes of operation for pictures, movies, text and normal use. These are easy to find and use. It also has support for 1440x900 ... ...2)Looks nice. The casing around the monitor is plastic, but manages to not look one bit tacky. It has a stand but can be wall mounted with tools (though I haven't tried this). It is very compact and neat, yet 19" widescreen so with plenty of viewability. 3)Great value. This monitor is very cheap yet very good. Your little bit for the environment Advantages: 65% recycled plastics and 70% recycled packaging materials Disadvantages: None as of yet ...screen i stumbled across the Lenovo Thinkvision L1711p. And was very happy with my purchase. Delivery was quick. And after a long wait, plugged it in to use. Excellent Dual use monitor/tv Advantages: stylish, value for money, great picture, great sound Disadvantages: signal may be affected by internet signal, dark shadows when lying down or playing dark games I absloutely adore this monitor! Bought as a replacement for my old 17" massive old style monitor it was certainly a refreshing change! Pricey at its then selling price of £200 I would say that it has certainly lived up to its price tag. Firstly the monitor can be used for dual purposes - for example if you don't have a TV no worries you can use this instead. It comes with a handy remote that lets you switch between inputs for example your computer ... ...can choose to take up. The remote also gives every option you would get on a normal TV remote, i.e. volume, brightnes, program up and down, menu options and the choice to press the tv numbers if you so wish. It comes with digital TV already built in so if you've not quite got round to buying a set top box and don't want to get cable or sky then this is all you need.
