Perfect gaming monitor..
Review of Iiyama Pro Lite E2202WSV-B1 by KitsuneAndy

Advantages: Size, resolution, refresh rate
Disadvantages: Frequency will not allow 1080i mode to run for HD outputs

I bought this for two reasons, one to replace my existing 15" Proview monito and the second to run my Xbox 360 on in High Definition. The high contrast ration and the 5ms Black to Black refresh (2ms grey to grey) looked like it would ideally suit high definition gaming, especially with the native resolution being 1680 x 1050 so almost 1080p resolution. I was a little dissapointed at first, when I realised that turning my Xbox into 1080 mode produced ...
...turning this down to 720i mode still looks 100 times better than it does on a standard TV. The widescreen display is brilliant, the colours clear and crisp and the refresh rate suits the games perfectly. I have noticed that you do occasionally get some 'ghosting' but this tends to happen on older, less advanced games such as the Xbox Live Arcade games. Playing games like Bioshock through this makes it look almost real. So if you want a way to run ... Read review

You'd have to be mental to buy this
Review of Iiyama Pro Lite E2200WS by pearlywhites

Advantages: good picture and large range of colours, shading and colour tones
Disadvantages: flimsy, costs a fortune, has poor speakers and weighs a ton

...this to you on my Iiyama Pro Lite E2200WS. At first I thought I was being presented with a large hooved animal when the email advising me that I had won one dropped into my inbox. All I had to do was pay the postage. Ouch! It weighs a ton and cost be an arm and a leg, but not as much as the £220 it costs to buy one in the shops. It actually weighs near enough 6kg. Made from the normal cheapo plastic that looks like it could be broken with a sharp ...
...has poor speakers and weighs a ton. The picture is good, but the picture on my old monitor that cost £70 was only that little bit worse. There are better TFT monitors for less cash. Go and look for them and avoid the Iiyama Pro Lite E2200WS at all costs. ... Read review

Promises so much, Delivers so little - Avoid!
Review of LG Flatron L227WT by Steboyuk

Advantages: Looks
Disadvantages: Actualy quality of the product

Having owned this monitor for around 6 months, and with no reviews wrote on it so far, I feel it needs one. Personally, I have always liked this screen. It is definatly a massive improvement on my old big Screen. It looks stunning on your desk, and the picture always looked fine, espeically on quick moving action, say I if I were streaming live sport for example! However, it didnt wow me as much as I wouldve hoped considering the price I paid, ...
...equipment instantly writed it off and claimed it was a shocking monitor considering the price. Having looked further into this, I can see see why - tests done on the screen show that the color fidelity is shockingly bad, for example one result is that they are totally off. With default settings the average difference is 7.8 and this is one of the worst measurements we've taken in the last few years. Not a single color is well rendered! In general, ... Read review

Samsung SyncMaster 740N
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 740N by Ajish

Advantages: Stylish design,Needs less space,High quality image, low power consumption,Relatively inexpensive
Disadvantages: The only disadvantage is that it looks dim when looking from the end side.

I bought samsung syncmaster one year ago and from my point of view this 17"monitor is really good. And the most unique feature is that its sleek and smooth designing tempts anyone. It requires minimum space. It even supports fast moving games and also movies very well.It is relatively inexpensive compared to other LCD monitors. It does not produce too much radiation and hence less eye strain. The wide viewing angle(160 degree) of this monitor really works ... Acer x221w 22" TFT - good because of price
Review of Acer X221W by panther23

Advantages: Price, design,
Disadvantages: for this price not point to be to picky

...mount it on a wall. Acer has an analogue (VGA) signal input. Acer compliant following standards:- ISO 13406-2, TCO '99 Display Resolution as we know is an important issue in monitors, because as higher it is as more specific picture can be, more thinks can be displayed at the same time and so on. This one offers maximum of 1680 x 1050 pixels which is good enough for standard use +. Brightness is 300 cd/m2 and it is a weak point but not crucial. ...
...watch, TV or DVD. Acer offers good quality for reasonable price. It is good but obviously not the best one like other top shelf more expensive monitors. I can recommend it for its price and quality it offers, simplicity, design and size. Please rate my review and leave comment possibly. Thank you. ... Read review
