And, if you want to listen through headphones you have to unplug the monitors sound and then plug your headphones directly into your computer, which is a real pain. I recently purcahsed this monitor from John Lewis at a very reasonable price, lower than i see it available today. The monitor itself was ready to go straight from the box. The brightview technology is superior to a standard CRT or even 99% of LCD monitors i have seen, the picture is clear and crisp and shows photos off magnificently. I have been using this monitor for the last 8 months and i must say that i have been very impressed by it. Although i have only used 3 other monitors before i can say that is definitely the best i have come across. The screen is 19in which compared to my smaller laptop of 17in and by huge desktop which is 22in is ideal, it doesn't take up too much space but is perfect for viewing smaller print and doing intricate designs. Hmm.. the HP L1940T Flat screen monitor.... Well, I recently got upgraded to XP at work, so we decided to treat ourselves to a new flat screen, to save a lot of space on our desk! When i bourt the LG 1953T LCD screen, it came with intructions and a installation CD. I did not have any problems installing the sofware.
