I bought this for two reasons, one to replace my existing 15" Proview monito and the second to run my Xbox 360 on in High Definition. The high contrast ration and the 5ms Black to Black refresh (2ms grey to grey) looked like it would ideally suit high definition gaming, especially with the native resolution being 1680 x 1050 so almost 1080p resolution. The widescreen display is brilliant, the colours clear and crisp and the refresh rate suits the games perfectly. I have noticed that you do occasionally get some 'ghosting' but this tends to happen on older, less advanced games such as the Xbox Live Arcade games. When i bourt the LG 1953T LCD screen, it came with intructions and a installation CD. I did not have any problems installing the sofware. My peronal experience with the screen is very good, i have never got any troubles with "dead" pixels or lag in online games. the 2ms respons time is very usefull when playing online Shoot'em'up games. Awesome monitor which delivers brilliant picture quality. It's custom made for watching movies and playing computer games as it encompasses a large area within its widescreen.
