stylish, cheap and excellent value for money Advantages: looks great, lots of ports, good image quality Disadvantages: shaky stand and somewhat baffling control After losing my previous television to a short-circuit, i was in desperate of a new set. Having been with a Toshiba for a while, i decided to buy from elsewhere. I was reluctant to buy an LG, as my friends had told me of their experiences with LG's poor sound quality on many of their products. After looking around, i found this and decided to risk it. For starters, id like to point out how impressed i was with the number of input and output ports ... ...PC plugged in at the same time, and still watch TV with the built in freeview, which comes with all the channels you would expect from any freeview box. The sound quality was good, but not great. if you set the volume too high, then it starts to sound a bit metallic, but after owning a Toshiba I was very used to this. The image quality more than made up for the sound quality. LGW2261V Advantages: Design of TV/Monitor,Crisp clean pictures Disadvantages: there\'s no I was as surprised by the design of TV/Monitor. Easy to setup and has a simple interface. When i first connected it to my PC via the HD able i was Dissapointed by the picture quality as the colors looked too strong and washed out. That however was a problem of my own making i did not install the drivers,once the drivers were installed this monitor offered stunning picture quality. Ive also got my X-box connected and this monitor just looked super! ... ...war 2 the picture quality is just stunning. Ive streamed some 1080 hd movie trailers and they look smoking hot on this tv. LG Flatron W2234S: A great value, good looking screen. Advantages: Great value, thin bezel, Good looks Disadvantages: Only VGA input, poor stand ...The viewing angles of the LG are very good, unless you look at the monitor from below, as the image slightly inverts. The main problem in my opinion was that the stand did not offer that great a range of movement, so i fitted the stand of an old monitor to it, allowing it to move up and down with more ease. Promises so much, Delivers so little - Avoid! Advantages: Looks Disadvantages: Actualy quality of the product Having owned this monitor for around 6 months, and with no reviews wrote on it so far, I feel it needs one. Personally, I have always liked this screen. It is definatly a massive improvement on my old big Screen. It looks stunning on your desk, and the picture always looked fine, espeically on quick moving action, say I if I were streaming live sport for example! However, it didnt wow me as much as I wouldve hoped considering the price I paid, ... ...equipment instantly writed it off and claimed it was a shocking monitor considering the price. Having looked further into this, I can see see why - tests done on the screen show that the color fidelity is shockingly bad, for example one result is that they are totally off.
