Excellent quality at a great price. Using these for photography

Advantages: Great value, decent inputs, sharp picture
Disadvantages: None I can think of at this moment

These have not been out for a very long time and so far I cannot fault them. I have two of these in a dual screen setup for professional photography and after some quick calibrating the colours are unbelieveable. After ordering these I had them delivered within two weeks which was great. Advanced viewing angle adjustability suits me perfectly allowing me to rotate the screen 90 degrees for viewing portrait sized pictures full screen. As for inputs ...
...USB 2.0 connectors. Warranty is fantasitc, the minute you find a dead pixel, even just one, you get a replacement under their three year premium warranty which is included at no extra cost. The panels are also from Dell's "improve work environment productivity" and are Energy Star compliant. I would not hesitate in recomending this to anyone ...

LED backlighting is the way to go

Advantages: GREAT image, colors and contrast are amazing, 1080p, fast response rate
Disadvantages: adjustment system could be better

I've been waiting for LED backlighting forever (at least it seems like it!), and this monitor really shows what you can do with the technology. The most striking difference is the contrast. I put Watchmen (for it's mix of very dark and very bright action scenes) on side by side with my Dell E248WFP, a CRT backlit display. It was amazing how much clearer the action was, especially in dark scenes where objects are often very difficult to distinguish. ...
...advantage of LED, the monitor itself has many advantages. The response rate is very fast, with very little or no input lag (which can be important for gaming). I think the adjustment system is OK, but it's good enough to do whatever you want, it's just hard to navigate at times. Also as a cool little addition it has a little cup-like piece where you can put whatever you want (I put a small cactus in mine!). With all the positives of the last generation ...

Great monitor for a great price

Advantages: Full HD, great color, like the design
Disadvantages: a little hard to adjust

...things, I'd never used a BenQ product before. I was thrilled when I started using it, though. There's really a lot to like about it. The design itself would fit seemlessly almost anywhere, including my desktop. It's sleek, black, good looking in general. The image also is much better than similarly priced monitors I've used. the colors are vibrant and natural and with the dynamic contrast option makes the contrast really good, so it's easier to discern ...

beautiful monitor

Advantages: widescreen, colour intensity
Disadvantages: instruction manual is hard to understand, its more of a do-and-learn type of thing

I bought this monitor about 9 months ago and can honestly say that i've never had any trouble with it. it first attracted me with its sleek and shiny design and ever since i'd say its a product worth buying! I don't know about without one, but i have a graphics card in my computer which probably enhances the colour brightness. It's a good sized monitor, well mine is 18.5 inches and i know they come in bigger sizes than that but i find that quite ...

great monitor, does what you ask of it

Advantages: matt screen reduces glare
Disadvantages: annoying 'touch on' feature

This monitor does everything I need it to do. I use the monitor as an external monitor for my laptop and it works very well. I had been worried that the constant connection and removal of my laptop may cause problems, this has not been the case. I had heard that the monitor was prone to shake on a desk, but this is most certainly not a problem, as the stand is in fact very stable. In terms of the quality, its better than I expected. blacks are good, ...
...doesnt reduce the sharpness of the images displayed. Connectivty could be better, as an HDMI port would have been useful. The monitor is also aesthetically very nice, with the black rose look going down a treat, however, turning the monitor on and off by touching this is an unnecessary and annoying gimmick. ...
