Excellence Advantages: 1080P, 2 HDMI's, Blue LED, widescreen, Disadvantages: None I have read many reviews on this product and a lot of these seem to be putting down the sound on this product, I find the sound to be excellent on this TV, not only this but you get 1080P, highest picture quality currently available along with 2 HDMI's, a scart, a component, surround sound components and a PC input. The issue with sound is people need to get use to the fact you need it louder on different inputs such as scart having a lower sound ... ...this and the display is crisp, on this TV I have experienced the best sound and picture quality I have ever experienced with a TV, the User Interface is easy to understand and anyone can learn how to fiddle with the settings. It was a whopping 24” but had that all important 1920 X 1200 resolution. Plus, it passed the pretty test. Black glossy and curvaceous, the Samsung ticked a lot of boxes. I was sold. So sold in fact, that I ordered 2. Oh yes. When they arrived they needed a minor amount of self assembly. This might seem odd, but the base of the stand is quite wide, presumably in order to support the precious screen. ... ...sorry for you, but luckily Samsung has a kinder heart and provides beautiful illustrations to guide you through this and the rest of the set-up process. So kindly are they, in fact, that they even show you how to disassemble your new toy. Once the new beasts were fired up, they didn’t disappoint. beautiful monitor Advantages: widescreen, colour intensity Disadvantages: instruction manual is hard to understand, its more of a do-and-learn type of thing I bought this monitor about 9 months ago and can honestly say that i've never had any trouble with it. it first attracted me with its sleek and shiny design and ever since i'd say its a product worth buying! I don't know about without one, but i have a graphics card in my computer which probably enhances the colour brightness. 22in SyncMaster 2223NW Samsung - Advised Purchase Advantages: Good manufacturer, fantastic picture quality & looks stylish but not flash Disadvantages: Weighs 4.9kg's (but this is expected with larger monitors) ...the workplace or home use. Samsung is a rather reliable brand through my experience with reasonable prices, certainly one of the cheaper 'quality' manufacturers. Right, down to the specs that matter for most consumers: * 22in LCD/TFT widescreen, 47.5cm x 30cm viewable screen (you miss out on 16mm from the edges of the monitor itself) - which is very efficient in my opinion * 15-pin VGA cable (D-Sub), which is the norm for monitors "DE-15" [note: ... ...connector to fit a specific graphics card (what I've done and I've experienced absolutely no problems)] * 1680 x 1050 / 60 Hz - 300 cd/m2 - which means widescreen and "300 cd/m2" is a measure of how well you can see the screen in a brightly lit room, generally the higher the better, 300cd/m2 is above average for monitors * Very Efficient power usage at 41 watts per hour when performing, and only 1 watt when in sleep mode, so it will save on the electricity ... Excellent LCD Monitor Advantages: Superb Quality Disadvantages: LCD screen is prone to damage ...for a computer monitor. This Samsung SyncMaster 943NW quickly caught my attention. I easily fell in love with the design. I loved its all-black color. Its very slim body is simply superb. After almost an hour of testing it, I took it home without having second thoughts.
