ViewSonic VA2216w - Great value 22" monitor Advantages: 22" size, stylish design, great low price Disadvantages: No DVI socket, not perfect picture ...different models, I found the Viewsonic VA2216w on offer for about £110 including VAT. This seemed great value for a new 22" widescreen monitor, perhaps the quality would lack? Impressed by what what I'd seen, I ordered it promptly. Viewsonic are monitor specialists so one would imagine they make good quality products. Friends and family of mine are quality connoisseurs and prefer brands like Iiyama, Sony and perhaps Samsung, but I like to find the ... ...packaging, I was really impressed by the external design. The monitor is built with black and silver plastic and is quite thin and lightweight, the plastic border of the screen is narrow. The bezel stand is also black and is fairly sturdy yet inconspicuous, allowing up and down angle movement. I think the physical design looks great and is the best of any monitor I've owned, it also nicely matches the rest of my PC. A very cheap monitor which doesn't comprise in too many areas Advantages: Excellent price, very decent picture, good build quality, 3 year warranty, excellent price Disadvantages: Lack of inputs (VGA only), ghosting noticable (although not terrible) ...monitor came in a large Viewsonic box, well padded with polystyrene. The base comes separately but easily clips on to the bottom of the stand, and the first impression the monitor gives is a good one. I was amazed at the size of it - if you are moving up from a 17", it is huge! The quality feels good, with a stylish thin black bezel, rounded base and simple easy-to-use silver buttons. When connected, a blue LED in the middle of the buttons lights ... ...extensive warranty. Overall, the Viewsonic VA2213w is, basically, a bargain. It performs excellently in both everyday use and for gaming, has a huge 21.5" viewable area, and costs only just over £100 delivered (at the time of writing). Economic LCD monitor Advantages: Best Performer, Stands with Best quality monitors, Good color Disadvantages: Bulky stand ...best quality then plz try Viewsonic VA1916 . Its cheap and best. I havecompared its picture qualities with both dell ad sont LCD and i fopund that VA1916 stand in the same row. If you want to buy a cheap and best LCD monitor i will suggest this one. Its just about of 4 kg. It has a dynamic color booster technilogy which makes the picture feel so real. ViewSonic VA703b Advantages: 8ms Reactions Disadvantages: Nothing This is my review for the View Sonic VA703b. I have been using this monitor now for close to 2 years and I have no problems with it. Instead of just being compatible with VGA it also works with the new(ish) DVI at the same time. It is an alright 17". This is OK if you want it for office work but if you want it for games, videos and pictures it is good but you would be better off with a 19" or bigger. I do play games on it and it still works quite ... ...time. It has really good reaction time and this is the reason why I got it. At a very low 8ms (mili seconds) it just gives a clear image every time. I delighted to find out that it is compatible with vista. It has 1280x1024 native resolution that delivers incredible image detail for sharp text and graphics. It has a high brightness and contrast. The brightness is 280-nit usually. The contrast ratio is 600:1 and that gives detailed images. Excellent Dual use monitor/tv Advantages: stylish, value for money, great picture, great sound Disadvantages: signal may be affected by internet signal, dark shadows when lying down or playing dark games I absloutely adore this monitor! Bought as a replacement for my old 17" massive old style monitor it was certainly a refreshing change! Pricey at its then selling price of £200 I would say that it has certainly lived up to its price tag. Firstly the monitor can be used for dual purposes - for example if you don't have a TV no worries you can use this instead. It comes with a handy remote that lets you switch between inputs for example your computer ... ...can choose to take up. The remote also gives every option you would get on a normal TV remote, i.e. volume, brightnes, program up and down, menu options and the choice to press the tv numbers if you so wish. It comes with digital TV already built in so if you've not quite got round to buying a set top box and don't want to get cable or sky then this is all you need.
