Samsung LE32A436 Good Buy
Review of Samsung LE32A436 by Tribunal18

Advantages: Good Sound, Good Colour, and a very simplistic set up.
Disadvantages: Picture distorts at a specific angle and direct light can make it very hard to see.

A buddy of mine has one of these sitting inside of his two story house. The upside to this is that it is of nice size, so there is no squinting required and the only time I have seen bad viewing is when we open the blinds to the out side world. These LE models do not do well when you attempt to contrast light or look at it from an angle. So, if you usually sit in a dark room while watching your TV then this would be perfect for you. If you would ... Read review

Good TV, even more so now its cheaper
Review of LG 26LC55 by prosumer

Advantages: easy to use. decent sound and picture
Disadvantages: freeview picture could be better. good but there are better TV`s

We got this from a catalogue as it was the best TV within in our budget (been at catalogue prices!). and we didn't go far wrong!. It has good sound (witch is unusual for a TV) that is clear and detailed. Plenty of inputs and a good picture (despite its modest contrast ratio) what I liked about it the most is the easy to use menu that looks very flash, inputs can be named and there are plenty of options to mess around with. This TV has LG`s XD engine ...
...in can have its own settings so for insistence you can have XD contrast enhancement on for your DVD player and off for your VCR. The XD colour enhancement can make some colours brighter and more vivid but it can unnaturally alter some others. the only real criticism is that the picture from the inbuilt freeview isn't great, your existing freeview/sky/virgin will probably look better ... Sony KDL40V3000 - Outstanding!
Review of Sony KDL-40V3000 by MattUtd

Advantages: Great Picture Quality, Great Sound, & Looks Great.
Disadvantages: Not in the piano black finish, but I don't see this as being a disadvantage.

...narrowed my choices down to Sony & Panasonic. My end decision really boiled down to the cost. For under £600, you can't beat the Sony KDL-V3000. Although it's not got the Piano Black finish, the build quality is what you expect from Sony. This TV has 2 HDMI inputs plus offers full HD, 1080p. I currently have Sky HD, PS3 and Wii and the picture improvement from LG to Sony was amazing. I only wish my LG brokedown earlier. The only downside is the ... Read review

Polaroid... As good as the cameras
Review of Polaroid FLU-3232 by TheGingerKid

Advantages: Great crisp picture; easy set up and go
Disadvantages: Sound could be better

The Polaroid FLU-3232 is a fantastic purchase. I was looking for a top quality HD 32" flat screen television for around £300 and I stumbled across this. In my opinion, it is a fantastic buy. As I mainly use my televisions for gaming I wanted a good quality television to astound my friends. And this is great for doing so. It isn't the best looking television in the world for a 32" HD ready LCD TV but it certainly does the job when it comes to it. ...
...have had this television now for 3 months and am very pleased with the quality overall. Many of you may have heard of Polaroid before with the great cameras they produce, well this television is probably the best quality one you can get for the price that it is; £299. ... Read review

KDL-20S3000 Review
Review of Sony KDL 20S3000 by K8eP

Advantages: Beautiful and Practical.
Disadvantages: Nothing worth fussing about.

...at portable TVs, the 20" Sony is only for my room. I realised when I compared the Samsung and the Sony the different straight away, just by looking at the figures. Samsung 2000:1 contrast, Sony 4000:1 contrast. You also know (and it helps that I heard the sound on my sisters) that sony will always be one of the winners in sound. Samsung 19" I can get for around £220, Sony 20" for £289.95 > the sound and contrast make it worth the extra money, baring ...
...they will do their best. Sony is currently £379 in their stores, I got them down to £316. ACTUAL REVIEW: The telly is beautiful. Sleek. For my bedroom, it is totally perfect and practical. I have two bulky objects: my old windows '98 PC monitor, and my 6 year old 21" television. Both weigh an absolute ton and are so large in depth etc. My Sony is to get rid of my monitor, get rid of my TV. It is also to provide HD for my PS3, for my video, for ... Read review
