This is a great TV with fabulous picture quality. It is the sound that really makes the machine stand out from other TV's in the same price range. I haven't added external speakers and still get almost cinematic sound from the TV's own speakers. I am actually using this monitor right now, and use to play all consoles in my room. Just a gorgeous look, black, really elegant, maybe not the largest of monitors/tvs but gets the job done. Easy to get up, although stand took a while to fix on. Many outputs can be hooked up, I personally use the pc, wii and xbox 360 all at the same time, and you can simply change the channel with the press of a few buttons. ...The resolution can go anywhere up to (from what i experienced) 1600x1050 pixels, maybe my graphics card isnt greatly capable of more but it looks really nice on this particular monitor. I find it money well invested in my gaming life, saves hooking up multiple tv's and isnt a huge electricity eater.
