This is a great TV with fabulous picture quality. It is the sound that really makes the machine stand out from other TV's in the same price range. I haven't added external speakers and still get almost cinematic sound from the TV's own speakers. I personally find that the LG 37LG600 is a tv that not only has great picture quality but has the sound quality to match. There is no question that for the price it is certainly a tv worth getting. The only problem i seemed to have is with the remote, i found that the buttons are a little small compared to the remotes of Samsung or Sony.
