Forgiving the predictable lack of bass which is normal for a screen this small audio is good across the range with impressive detail in the higher ranges and doesn't suffer too much in high action film sequences. We have just purchased this tv, and are so impressed! It makes our living room look so modern and swish. The design and look of the tv itself is just great, the best looking tv I have seen, no big border or lights around it, just a plain simple black thin border. Purchased a Teco 40" TV from ebuyer in April 2007 and in May 27 2008 it stop displaying a picture, sound ok. Contacted Ebuyer as the TV had a 2 year warranty, they gave me Teco's number and Teco picked it up and said 10 working days? It October 4th 2008 there still wait for replacement parts, my last call to Teco support, the guy told he load of other customers were having the same problem and that he would never buy the brand and he was really sorry. ...
...as advised by Consumer direct to both Ebuyer & Teco, they don't want to know, as CAB said it'll cost us £45 just to start a small claims through the courtand that may not go through it they think its not worth it. Samsung TV's are in general excellent. I have another model that is slightly bigger and the experiances I had with that one led me to this one! To give you an over view this is a 22 " Widescreen LCD screen that can be used as a TV or as a Computer monitor. It has a built in DTV tuner (freeview) and is HD compatible. I do not mean the pretend HD either this is full 1080p HD. There is 1080 i which can be classed as HD but 1080p is a fully high definition ...
...a large room you need to think about surround sound. The samsung Hd TV's are known for having poorer sound quality copared to the Sony models for example. I however cannot notice a huge difference. I think the other features of this TV more than make up for this problem! ... Read review

i bought this samsung tv after i had bought a umc tv from currys and i had to take it back 3 times as it was just faulots happening with the product so i spent another 30 pounds by buying the samsung tv and it was the best 269 pounds i have ever spengt on a tv as the picture quality is superb and the sound is excellent and when i play my xbox through hdmi cable it is excellent i would recommend this tv to buy.ik suggest that you never buy a umc tv ...
