i just bought this for my son for his birthday as he also got a nintendo DS. he originally played the lego star wars on the xbox 360 and as it was such a amazing game and simple for him to play i thought this would be the same.
i can confirm this game has many of the aspects of the star wars game which i think is a good thing as you dont want to change everything, there is plenty of new things to do on this, using you whip as your weapon and using the stylus is a great way of playing the game, same as star wars there are plenty of levels and each are different, one level you might just be running along next level you be driving or flying.
the game has so many playing hours and is very funny, very close to the original films with some added humor, Characters are the same as the films, and look great as lego men.
i think the whole idea from star wars and this is great for children and even adults and keep them amused for plenty of time.
