Lego Indiana Jones is what I consider to be the midway point between Lego Star Wars TCS and Lego Batman. We had a huge build up to Lego Indy with a trailer being featured in the Star Wars the complete saga game and it didn't fail to live up to this hype. The humour has stayed but the puzzles are more complex. You are now much more dependent on the second character to help you complete these puzzles. This is very annoying as you can spend a lot of time waiting for the computer character to help you to complete the puzzles.

It looks at the three films and has comedic cut scenes which fairly accurately retell the story of the film. Female characters can jump higher and certain characters who can deceipher heiroglyphic based puzzles.

The game as a whole takes far less time to play and having finished it in a short time I still found plenty to go back and unlock. Each level contains 10 artefacts which you unlock in a range of ways, from digging them up to reaching high platforms.
These artefacts are displayed in a museum style room in a college style hub based on the college where Indiana Jones teaches. The game also has some bonus levels to unlock similar to its predecessors in the series. One criticism of the game is the 'power brick' element has been carried across to this game from star wars only with so few levels there is little need to have the amount of multipliers that there are and the other power ups do feel less useful. Another problem is that for any trophy hoarders this game came before the trophy feature of the PS3 had been introduced and as yet they have still not introduced trophies for this game. Considering the XBox version had achievements it wouldn't be too hard to introduce them on this version of the game.

The game when played on the PS3 looks stunning, the colour is very bright and the attention to detail on the level design is very well done. Overall this game can be enjoyed by most people no matter how much experience they have with gaming and is definitely worth a play. It is worth buying if you've not done so already and is available used on amazon from around £7.50- £15 from amazon directly.
