We aren’t brand loyal but have had good experience of LG Televisions over the last few years. When we first bought our large Plasma Television 7 years ago it was an LG – sadly it broke (what was I saying about good experience??). It was since fixed and the fault was just some simple thing with the motherboard. We gave it to the inlaws as it was HD Compatible and we did fancy a HD ready TV, but they are still using it and it hasn’t gave them a bit bother. The new TV we bought was an LG and the smaller TV that we have in our office (room where our PC and desk is along with a couch and tv) is this Television.

This Television is a 19”. I wouldn’t say it looks huge or that but since the plastic surround is quite small then I guess it looks bigger than when you have a huge wide surround around a Television screen. The speakers are at the side of the Television but they don’t stand out, they are pretty hidden. This can be wall mounted but this just props on top of our Sky HD box easily enough. It stands sturdily and doesn’t wobble all over the place.

This only has 1 HDMI connection at the back which we are using to connect our Sky HD box. There is a Scart connection as well, but it would have been more handy if there was 2 HDMI connections.

The picture quality from this is good. It is clear and the colours are sharp. The sound does have to be up a bit and you feel that the numbers can be going up for a good few digits before you hear the sound increasing, but there is still plenty of notches for the sound to go up before the sound becomes a bit tinny and muffled. The sound quality for the Bass is good though.

This also has built in freeview but the area I live in isn’t that great for Freeview so I haven’t really tried this out much. Although the Digital switchover has came and gone it still isn’t too great here.

We paid £200 for this television which at the time was an alright price for a brand named television.

A good smaller screen television which does the job.
