I got this TV for my birthday for my room, it was £400 from argos which i thought was a bargin, and so it was. 1080p, 32", 80,000 to one sound contrast, 50hz, freeview, brillaint look and an energy saving button. i got this tv mainly to play on my ps3, i heard that 1080p and game consoles just made it so much more than a game, and it does, the size is the perfect the picture is wicked, but lets get into detail
Design
The LG3000 is glossy black just like a ps3 with invisible sound speakers. this makes the TV look as good as it can, sometimes if you put holes in a TV it either looks ugle or dust gets in it etc etc but this just gets ride of that problem and gets a better result (ill explane later) it comes with a stand easy to install and a plastic cover for when putting on a wall (cant see it just goes on the back). also lastly it has a really nice glowing red and blue light to tell when its on, off or on stand by, this makes it look slick and adds to the classyness of it. The LG symbol looks good and its nice that is white instead of going pink. that really it for the design, as you can see it looks nice
The Back
The back of the LG is good, with 3 HDMI slots, 2 scart lead slots, an aerial opening, audio in and out, composite slots, USB port, headphone slots and couple more. that im not sure about. also has the on/off switch, power volume etc buttons on the side incase youve lost the remote.
Remote
The remotes good, simple but has everything you would want, power button, volume channel, mute and numbers are the basics but then theres TV/Radio which switches to freeview, and AV mode that changes from cinema, sport and game to match what you are watching, input where you choose what cable you wanna view from, weather itd be HDMI or scart, stop play pause etc buttons which i assume is for if you have a dvd/blue ray player and couple more which again dont know much about. overall remotes good, cant see and negatives so thats that.
Picture
The TV is 1080p which means 1920 by 1080 pixels, this is the most you can get in a tv to date which means the best picture. it is also HD ready, meaning everything is to the highest quility. also 1080p means that when playing blue ray and next gen games you get an outstanding picture. there is also a picture wizard which is a series of clours and pictures where you have to get the brightness till you can only see two cloured boxs.
Sound
With a sound contrast of 80,000 to 1 this means 80,000 sound notes in one second, which is amazing. it also has a sound changer so that the sound changes especially for music, cinema, sport or gaming. lastly the Lh3000 has invisible speakers, improving the sound fo your ears
AV mode
With AV mode it makes viewing easy and quick, change your picture from cinema, this will make the brightness, contrast, back light etc. to the best for that viewing. then the same for gaming and sport. the only thing is that you will have to mess around with the modes before you get a perfect picture for your viewing picture.
overall
Overall this is a fantasic tv with a brillaint price. only thing is trying to get the picture right which can take a little while
