Although this TV may have plenty of ways of connecting external sources, there is only one way of connecting audio out which has to be done by Digital Optical cable. I personally bought this item on the assumption that I would be able to connect to my media centre through RCA cables which is not possible. I now have to upgrade my media centre to one which has optical input.
Having said this though, the picture is incredibly sharp even when watching DTV which is owed to the 100Hz refresh rate. Obviously not as good as blu-ray but I do watch my DVD's using a blu-ray player (upscaled to 1080i) and the picture is outstanding. All the picture settings are very useful with preset such as Intelligent Sensor, Vivid, Standard etc and built in audio settings allowing true voice (near to human sound) and SRS Tru Surround are a nice feature too.
Also, I like the ability to bluetooth my pictures to the TV instead of crowding around a 2 inch phone display. USB which supports audio and jpeg is a nice gimmick too.
Overall I am very happy with my purchase, just a shame I cannot plug in to my media centre.....yet!
