Well I purchased this TV a while ago and did have reservations for a samsung. I was mainly attracted to the price difference between the two and LG does tend to offer their TVs at a lower price than other manufacturers.

The TV gives a brilliant picture quality and also the HD is fantastic. At the back there is two normal scart sockets two HDMI sockets and TV arial and a three plug type scart socket.

The menus are very easy to use and the digital free view is brillaint to, all you have to do is flick between channel and there is no need to bring up a menu.

Sound quality is brilliant also, nice crisp sound.

It doesn't mark and dust comes off nicely with a fiber cloth.

I would recommend and give a 10/10
