I have had my Chocolate lg kg800 for around 3 months now and can say wholeheartedly I love it. I was never a lover of slide phones before as I thought they would be too fiddly mucking around with it all the time but I have to say with this I have been converted.
I would definately say that it is a phone designed for women as my husband who has large hands cannot use the touch screen part of the phone as he ends up usually trying to connect to the net!!
I have the black coloured phone and yes it looks amazing, especially when the touch pad lights up and the menu, arrows and little phones light up red. It does however get smudged and grubby looking quickly especially if you have lots of sticky fingers floating around like me!!
It is sleek and compact in design and isn't a heavy phone, I'm going to put all the specs at the end of my review as if I try to put them whilst telling you my opinion of the phone I am bound to forget something!
I have used the camera quite alot and it has produced some really great pictures, I will try and eventually upload a photo taken with my phone so you can see for yourself the quality, ( might take a while as we are moving soon and I think connection lead is packed!!)
I was like a big kid when I first received the phone, taking pictures of all the kids, downloading music onto it which by the way is really easy and simple to do, just plug in the cable to both computer and phone and you are away, I literally tried out everything and found it all easy and simple to do and I am no big techie.
We got our phones on Vodafone, pay monthly, now we had two phones, mine and my husband had the latest sony ericsson and we pay £27.50 a month for the two which I think is a great deal. They came with the bonuses of on my phone, I had 200 free minutes and 100 free texts and I had a free in car charger, blue tooth headset and data cable which I think for the price is quite good.
The only game on my phone is a preloaded sudoko game which I quite enjoy playing anyway. The graphics are quite good on the game and you get a funky little tune which plays at the start of the game.
The video camera is good too, the other day I did a 3 and a half minute little film of my kids and the quality and sound was quite good, although it is an mp3 player the sound is better through earphones than through the phone itself. It can get quite loud if you turn the volume up, but my hubbies phone is definately better at sound quality.
I have never had any trouble with the reception aspect of it except when I am in my local Tesco store, it goes completely blank, no range at all, mind you it does kind of guarantee some peace whilst doing some retail therapy lol!!
I have to admit I have also dropped it several times as you do and it has showed no signs of after efects so I think it is quite a sturdy little phone too.
The best thing I think about my phone is that if I have been in a hurry and discovered my battery was dead, 5 minutes charge and it will go for about 6 hours and on a full nights charge it will last around 3 days of constant usage. It normally takes around 2 hours to fully charge up but I generally just plug it in when I go to bed and forget about it til morning.
As you probably guess, yeah I love my phone and am completely happy with it all round. So now I am going to put in all the techie stuff which can be found on any mobile website.

the LG Chocolate KG800 Features: Size94 x 44 x 15 mm and 84g CameraYes MP3 RintonesYes MessagingSMS, EMS, MMS, Email Tri-BandYes BluetoothYes JavaYes The LG KG800 mobile phone is better known to many people as the Chocolate phone. Don't bother looking for any hidden meaning - quite simply, it's bar-shaped and the best-selling version in South Korea is a dark brown chocolate colour! And the LG KG800 certainly is a best-seller in its home country. It's become a favourite phone for the rich and famous, appearing in the hand (and pocket) of top celebs. Why? Well, the phone cleverly blends modern styling with useful features. When the slide-up design is closed, you'll notice a high-quality display screen and a handful of touch-sensitive keys for controlling essential functions. They glow red when they're being used and fade into the background when they're not needed. Slide the phone open and there's a standard keypad, along with a wealth of useful functions including an alarm clock, calendar, calculator, photo editor and games. The LG KG800 is also an MP3 player, with 128MB of memory providing plenty of storage space. In addition, the back of the phone contains a 1.3 megapixel camera for photos and videos. All this and Bluetooth connectivity as well. If you're looking for stand-out style without compromising on usability, you'll appreciate the LG Chocolate KG800. It certainly is a tasty little camera phone! In the Box Handset Battery AC Adaptor CD / Manual
