People always say good things come in small packages- however in this case it was different, This Tv was one of the types of television you would see on CRIBS on MTV of one of the famous footballers or singers. First impressions normally do say everything and I must say I was amazed . It is a slimline tv available in Black and silver (i opted for silver), in a matte finish it is suitable for homes with children as the surround does not mark with sticky fingers!!!! , 42in. after reading briefly through the guide , I noticed it is freestanding but can be wall mouted. I am sure that it would extremely good wall mounted but I had visions of putting it up and it going bang on the floor so I stuck to the safe option. The tv comes with remote control(which is essential).The actual standby button and manual controls are situated at the side of the television. The tv features all the standard things such as teletext.

-------THE QUALITY------
All channels i recieve at home including cable are of fantastic quality, I am aware there are special HD channels available now for an extra subscription, but I can assure you that it would be uneccesary as the quality and clarity is great, it is like being in the cinema. The sound quality is also superb,the speakers are situated on the bottom and rear of the machine, no need at all for surround sound with this.

-------THE SET-UP------
The set up of the television is basically the same as any other , but obviously if you do recieve anthing other than terrestrial ther is a few more wires to connect from the various boxes.

-------COST AND AVAILABILTY--------
I purchased my set from my local Comet store, they are available at their online site and I am sure at othre good retailer, the cost was £879 .

--------OVERALL----------

I cannot fault this at all really , it is a fantastic price for the product you recieve, the only obvious thing is the chance of the children knocking it over as it is very light compared to the standard tv, but this would be the same as with all tvs of this design, It fits in well wth my decor as it is a very contemporary design and with the option of colours and finishes it is versatile too, overall a fantastic buy !!!
