I looked into quite a few tv's before choosing this one. It has a good refresh rate giving it a good clear picture, the contrast ratio is a pointless benchmark and you need it turned upto max. all the time. One of the important things I considered was the amount and types of inputs. This tv has three scart inputs as well as an array of other types. I found it easy to use from the outset, the remote looks complicated but like most, you only use a percentage of the buttons. It can be a little slow when changing between inputs e.g. av1 to av3, but have now got used to it. I have seen this model attached to a HD sky system and was blown away with the quality of the picture, it is like looking through a window rather than watching tv! . It has very good speakers and a good amplifier so films are a pleasure to watch. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and would happily stay with LG in the future.
