Advantages: Excellent Image Quality, Value for money
Disadvantages: No digitial freeview built in, instructions

...30" CRT. The stand for LG just fits on this and no more. On powering on the telly and using the units automatic tuner it was able to pick up four of the terrestrial channels. Since we live in a poor reception area this is what we expected. All of the channels were correctly assigned in the correct order. It would have been nice for a built in 'digi-box' box to have been incorporated into the set as many other manufactures appear to be doing that ... Read review

Advantages: Brilliant Picture, XD engine, Duel screen, Future Connectivity, PC Connection, Value for Money, Pretty.
Disadvantages: poor instructions unless you have a pc...

...like it would be an LG or Toshiba both of which were offering TV's which are in my price bracket. Whilst looking through a home shopping catalogue I found both TV's which covered my budget, This TV and the Toshiba 37WL66P. Both offer pretty much the same but the LG offers a higher contrast ratio which means that blacks are more black (not grey) and the colours are more defined. Something that drew me towards the LC3R was its ability to have duel displays, so when someone wants to watch say Eastenders I didn't have to stop doing what I'm doing. Unfortunately you can only have the sound from one source at a time. Another reason was that owing to this TV not having a built-in digibox, my logic tells me that should the freeview go wrong inside the TV I haven't lost ... Read review
