The standby time and the talk time are considerably prolonged. I bought this phone in a sale, as a cheap replacement for my old Nokia. I didn't know what to expect from it; this is the first LG product I've owned.
I'm very impressed with this phone. It's simple to use. The colour screen is very bright and clear, which makes it easy to read. The buttons are just right, not so hard that they're difficult to press, and no so soft that they get damaged with use.
The phone always seems to have good reception, and when making phonecalls the line is very clear. Texts are sent quickly. The text memory is decent; I believe you can store over 200 texts before you run out of space. You can also save pictures to the phone, which you can use as backgrounds.
I've owned this phone for almost a year, and apart from some slight comsetic damage to the outside, it's still like brand new. The scratches are my own fault- I shove it in my pocket with my keys! The mirror on the front is a nice touch for us ladies!
The phone comes with a compact, lightweight charger which locks into place. This is a feautre that I really like; with the Nokia, it was very easy for the charger to come unfastened. No so with the LG! The phone is very quick to charge, and the battery lasts a long time; it's lasted a full two weeks with mimanal use. With heavier use, the battary lasts around a week.
The colour scheme on the phone is diffrent; the case is dark red, and the inside as light grey/silver. The phone is a good size too, not so small that you lose it, but not too large either!
You can access the internet from the phone. I can't really comment on this feature as I don't use it much. The few times I have used it have been satiosfactory. It's fairly quick, and quite simple to use. The phone also support Java, which is handy.
The ringtones that come with this phone could be improved, however if you install your own, the sound quality is very good. I think that it plays polyphonic ring tones, which is nice!
Overall, I'm very impressed with this phone. It's simple to use, stylish, and very robust. I'd have liked a camara and infared connection for this phone.
Advantages: just the right size and the colour is brilliant Disadvantages: none
i found this phone absolutely brilliant and i still have it now. i got it at argos for £34.95 which was an absolute bargain considering the fact that its a flip phone. this phone has been through everything, literally. Only a few months ago i left the phone in my pocket of my jeans which then went in the wash (this isn't the first time that i have done this) and came out dead. then i opened it up and left it to dry for a few days and it was absolutely ... ...the network and it is a decent looking phone. however i am shortly upgrading my phone as id like the next model up which has infrared and a camera phone two things that this phone lacks. apart from that there is nothing wrong with this phone and is brilliant if you want something simple just for texting and calling people on. ...
