...I believe that the LG mp3 player is an extremely well put together package. Because of its tiny, size (a thing, which scared me when I got it out of the box I thought I had lost a part or something). Then there is also the obvious fact that it is a mp3 player that is under the £100 mark, which is a big, selling factor. The other part is that LG is a superior producer of electronic goods with a low price mark for a high quality item. Advantages: You can play DVD and record it to a video. Hear music from CD and watch movies with full surround sound system, just like at the cinema.
Disadvantages: Who likes to watch VIDEOS these days? It doesn't record DVDs.

...A sleek design with simple on-screen options. The DVD eject/insert is pretty fast and with the DVD inserted, the load/read system is quick. The DVD is played within seconds upon loading (between 5 to 7 seconds). There are a lot of settings that you can adjust to make it a customised-default from the user. Parental control is also available on the settings screen. The remote control has a lot of buttons (approx. 54) and has a simple design with a lot of features. Behind the LG system, there are two SCART ports, one for VCR input and output, the other for DVD output only. TV ports are also located, plus the 6 speaker ports for the surround system (one of them for the subwoofer). Advantages: Nice looking and performing TV
Disadvantages: Failed after 31 days - still wating for return almost one month later

...Good - quality of the picture, connectivity, style Bad - reliability, LG service For the first month of having this, I would have wholeheartedly recommended it to anyone. It failed after 31 days. LG had it taken to a local repair shop. Nine days after it failed, they identified that the power supply had failed. 7 days later, the repair shop told me the replacement power supply had failed. Still waiting after almost a month. Throughout this LG customer service have been completely disinterested, would not escalate, would not let me speak to higher authority. I had to write a letter to them to get any further action - in this day and age - a letter! Totally unacceptable. LG CS are only there to fend off complaints. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.... Read review
