LG GCC 4521B Review of LG GCC 4521B by coopsta133 Advantages: Affordable, reliable Disadvantages: none ...I bought this a few months back when I was building my PC. I was looking for something that was combo for writing CD's but did not require a DVD RW drive. This was perfect! The pricing is excellent for this drive and is perfect for a budget builder. You just plug it into the IDE slot install a few drivers for DVD play and viola! I have never experienced a problem with Writing Cd's and every time the CD comes out perfect. DVD playback also is very smooth. The colour is great for a black computer case which I have so you don't end up with a silly beige one. Mine did not come with an installation booklet, but that was not needed as that is included with your motherboard. However it was OEM the one i bought so if you buy a retail one I am sure it will include one. LG is known for its great pricing and reliability which reflects strongly... Super fast super DVD re-writer! Review of LG GCC 4320B by ste231191 Advantages: Instalation, Supports ALL formats! Disadvantages: Spped, No Bundled Media. ...LG are another of my great cheap and cheerful companies along with (JVC.) If you have a computer with alot of data then the DVD Re-writer allowes you to back up and save those precious documents and those famous holiday snaps then you can put them all on to a computer and make a DVD of your holiday snaps.....but if you are really clever then you can record those magic moments on the holidays and put them all onto one DVD (now thats amazing.) Or what you can do is borrow DVDs off a friend "and back them up" for them and keep a copy but thats a bit naughty and illegal....... Once you have put all your images on to a DVD then you can delete them off your computer and free up valuable disk space....The LG writes to all formats!!! including +R/RW and -R/RW (if you dont know what they mean then read my review on the JVC DVD player and I reveal...
