This is DVD reader this means this is only for reading purpose only but not for writing purpose so we can use this for entertainment only like playing movies.
This Lg product most of my friend say if you are buying a DVD writer or DVD reader them we should only buy LG product. This is LG DVD ROM means it will ream DVD and also CD also we can see movies with buy keeping this the installing is very easy .
Along with DVD Rom we will get NERO CD by which we will write DVD or CD by this DVD ROM we can only burn CD and we can only play DVD.
If we are using DVD only for entertainment and for some purpose then we can buy this.If we want to write a DVD it is not possible by this then we should go for DVD writer .I want to say one thing while writing a CD make sure that writing speed is 32x because if we increase the speed the life of the CD will decrease so write with 32x or 24x.If there is any emergency then go for max speed .

One more thing If possible copy the DVD in your computer and and watch the movie because if we go on watching the movie from DVD every time after some time the picture quality will decrease thats why if possible copy and see the DVD and CDs enjoy have a nice day
