Although LG is not the leading names in both computer hard ware and software production but they have some thing really to offer in this their LG GGW multi blue precisely. The LG drive is capable of copying and reading information's as fast as it can and on the other hand the DVD play back.
I got this specifically for writing and duplicating plates. CD writing has been a convenient stuff for me since I got this. I won't emphasize on the drive of being slow because in general, LG drives are slow in their performances but what I will emphasize on is the durability. It has lasted quite long in my household without problems and I like that.
It has a buffer size of 4MB and with also built in buffer under run protection. It also has video CD compliant standard.
Well I cant just tell on how I got to this because there was other hard drives that I would have gone for that have big names and hard drive like apple hard drives or HP hard drives. But I think I would still use this for some time. But In the real sense, I will definitely look for a faster hard drive. Its capability of playing and wiring DVDs impresses me a lot.
In my own case, I normally play DVDs in most cases and it has helped me so much in CD recordings. It is not that difficult to install just needs little patients and needs to be done carefully.
It has a lot of supporting recording mass like the disk at once, track at once, session at once, packet writing, restricted over write and jump recording. All these features help in the regulations of the CD drive performances. In the issue of restricted overwrite you are not allowed to over write either a program or a CD program.
Well in my own case, I am not regretting buying this because of its vigorous functions, is that it is very slow in performance.

It has access of 160 mins DVD, 180ms DVD-RAM, 150ms CD, 180 BD.
Its media load type is the tray type and with 4mb buffer size and with also horizontal vertical mountable. Video CD compliant standard is also made available.
In terms of software requirements, not only micro soft XP, it also requires the windows vista software program.

Well this is a very nice hard drive that handles your DVD playbacks and on the other hand plays it very. Although this is my first time of using an LG hard drive but I am still happy on using it. Does DVD recordings very well.
In terms for value of money it is very affordable. In my own case, I bought mine at the price of £162.32 at Amazon. Uk.
