Bought this form a computer fair for £35 to play with . Took out of box and used it with my Vista Home Premium Hp laptop that already had some Lightscribe software on. Worked a treat. Did n't need to refer to instructions and burnt a disc with quite elaborate design. Ver y easy to use. Slow to "burn/draw" disc but v good results. Does what it says.

I have just bought aLG GSA-E60L about 2 weeks ago and I am still waiting for it to do something useful. It seems to not be reconised by my computer, then when it is it starts a job but never gets round to finnishing it. Overall the worst peice of junk I have ever bought.

With the ability to store data redundantly and digitally authenticating data, SecurDisc provides professional and private users with the means necessary to protect and share data securely. Currently there are 3 types of DVD formats - DVD+R, DVD-R and DVD-RAM. Most devices can read and write in 2 formats, but LG's Super Multi drives read and write in all 3 DVD formats. Super Multi gives you the freedom to choose the media you want to use. E60L Super-Multi lets you create silkscreen-quality disc labels direct from your PC with LightScribe. LightScribe is a laser printing technology on the exclusive LightScribe disc. It provides a complete, convenient, cost-effective system for labeling discs. Simply "burn" the data to a LightScribe disc, flip the disc over, place it back in the drive, and "burn" the label.
