I bought this phone (well took a more expensive contract to get the phone for free) as I wanted a phone with a good camera so I would always have it on me to take snaps of my little boy and this appeared to be about the highest spec camera available at the time.
I have to say I have not been disappointed with this phone, the pictures I have taken compare well to those that I take on my Canon Ixus and I have certainly taken more snaps thanks to having this in my pocket all the time. It is also useful to be able to crop the photos on the phone rather than having to wait until they are downloaded. The phone has a lot of features that you wouldn't normally expect on a camera-phone such as quick succession multiple shots (useful for capturing a toddler!)
With regards to other functions the phone is perfectly adequate, calls and texts have never been a problem, the handwriting recognition is pretty good although I find it easier to turn the phone on its side to get access to the full QWERTY keyboard layout for texting.
Mobile internet access seems pretty good although I only use it for the BBC website so can't comment on other sites / content. The screen is a reasonable size for viewing websites.
The only thing that makes me jealous of iPhone users is the number of applications thay they have at their fingertips - I have been unable to locate any interesting applications for download to this phone.
